Gardeck loaded up the stat sheet as part of a dominant defensive showing by the Cardinals in Week 2. The 29-year-old earned a significant role last season for the first time in his six-year career, after primarily being a special-teams contributor. In his new role as a starter, the Sioux Falls product may be having a late-career breakout now that he's getting the opportunity to see the field more.
