The Eagles have released Ryans, NJ.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Releasing Ryans saves the Eagles $3.5 million in salary cap space, a cost-cutting move made more palatable by the 31-year-old's on-field performance decline last season, as well as the emergence of rookie Jordan Hicks. Per the report, San Francisco could be a potential landing spot for Ryans, with former Eagles coach Chip Kelly now helming the 49ers.

Ryans (hamstring) is active Sunday against the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Ryans will suit up for the first time since Week 6, but with a healthy linebacking corps in Philadelphia, his exact role will be a bit unclear. The 31-year-old has 23 combined tackles so far this year, but has made his presence known with both an interception and fumble recovery.

Ryans (hamstring) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
Ryans should have some kind of role, but with the Eagles having their full stable of inside linebackers, the 31-year-old is unlikely to play more than half of the defensive snaps. Kiko Alonso, Mychal Kendricks and Jordan Hicks will also get playing time.

Ryans (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game in Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
With Kiko Alonso (knee) playing for the first time since Week 2, the Eagles shouldn't be too affected by Ryans' absence. The 31-year-old has just 23 tackles in six games this season, as he's largely been confined to an early-down role.

Ryans (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Ryans hasn't played since Week 6 due to a lingering hamstring injury he suffered against the Giants. He did not participate in practice until Friday, and even then he was limited. If Ryans is not able to go Sunday, expect Mychal Kendricks and Jordan Hicks to divvy up the workload.

Ryans (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game in Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Mychal Kendricks (hamstring), who was also listed as questionable, is active for Sunday's game. With Ryans out, both Kendricks and Jordan Hicks could work in every-down roles.

Ryans (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the undefeated Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Ryans suffered a hamstring injury in Monday's win over the Giants and has missed practice this week. It may come down to a game-time decision, although Ryans said all week he plans to play. If he can't go, look for Jordan Hicks to get the start.

Ryans (hamstring) didn't take part in practice Thursday, Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ryans left Monday's win against the Giants with a hamstring injury, which continues to hold him out of commission. While he hasn't been a huge source of tackles this season, managing just 23 (18 solo) in six games, he's otherwise contributed one interception, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. If he takes a seat on Sunday night at Carolina, Jordan Hicks is the best bet to suit up at inside linebacker next to Mychal Kendricks (hamstring).

Ryans (Achilles) is a full go for OTA's on Thursday, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
As expected, the new addition will be ready to participate in drills from day one, and, barring a setback, he shouldn't be hampered as he attempts to carve out a role throughout offseason workouts. The 30-year-old has proven to be a dynamic player, at times, in the past, but he's now torn his Achilles twice and will battle with Mychal Kendricks and Kiko Alonso for snaps at inside linebacker.
