Ford had the best game of his career thus far Sunday against the Chargers, finishing with seven tackles and three sacks.
EDGE Analysis
Ford has been a bit of a disappointment up to this point in his career, but showed a flash of his talent Sunday that led to the Chiefs spending a first-round pick on him in 2014. The second-year linebacker took advantage of his opportunity to play with Justin Houston out, seeing the field for 66 snaps out of a possible 67. When Houston returns, Ford's playing time will likely drop again, but the team could use more of a rotation between Ford and Tamba Hali should he continue to produce when given the opportunity.

Ford (back) is active for Sunday's game at Oakland, BJ Kissel of the Chiefs' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
After missing the last two games due to a back injury, the Chiefs' 2014 first-round pick will be available to the LB corps in Week 13. However, he's mustered just nine tackles and no other counting stats on limited snaps this season.

Ford (back) is probable for Sunday's matchup against the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
Ford was able to practice fully all week, so it was assumed the former first-round pick would be able to play after missing the last two games due to a back injury. He's been a bit of a disappoint for the Chiefs thus far in his career, but he'll look to get back on track against the Raiders.

Ford (back) will practice Wednesday, BJ Kissel of Chiefs.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ford hasn't been able to play in the Chiefs last two games due to a variety of injuries, but it appears as if the former first-round pick's health is on the upswing Wednesday. More information will likely arrive after the Chiefs release their official injury report, but for now it seems as if Ford could play against the Raiders on Sunday.

Ford (back) will not play in Sunday's game against the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Ford injured his back during warmups last Sunday, and it will cost him at least another week as well. Tamba Hali will continue to see the largest chunk of time at right outside linebacker, but Dezman Moses could be in line to spell him again Sunday should the veteran need rest.

Ford injured his back during warmups and will not play Sunday against the Chargers, Adam Teicher of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ford's injury shouldn't have too much of an overall impact Sunday, but it's worth noting that he won't be available to spell veteran Tamba Hali and his sore knee. Assuming Hali requires a fair amount of rest as usual, Dezman Moses could be in line to see added snaps in place of the inactive Ford.

Ford recorded three tackles (one solo), a half sack and two QB hits Sunday against the Raiders.
While Ford didn't get the start with Tamba Hali playing Sunday, he did see his most extensive action of the season Sunday, playing 48 percent of the defensive snaps. The rookie finally showed a flash of the reason why the Chiefs chose him in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, but still sits behind both Justin Houston and Tamba Hali at outside linebacker.

Ford was working with the first team Thursday the could receive the start against the Raiders if Tamba Hali (knee) can't go Sunday, ESPN.com reports.
Ford has been a major diappointment for the Chiefs this season, but could get a chance to show the team why they drafted him 23rd overall in the 2014 NFL Draft if Hali is unavailable. Ford has just three tackles and 0.5 sacks on the season.
