Ford injured his hamstring during Sunday's game against the Buccaneers and won't return, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ford's absence will be a huge blow to the Chiefs' pass rushing unit, but luckily for the team, starting outside linebacker Justin Houston is back in the lineup for the first time since suffering a torn ACL.

Ford notched two sacks in Sunday's game against the Jaguars, posting three total tackles (all solo).
EDGE Analysis
Ford is finally beginning to display the talent matching his first-round selection in the 2014 NFL Draft, tallying 5.5 sacks over the past two weeks to give him nine on the season. The return of Justin Houston (knee) in Week 10 may complicate the outside linebacker situation a bit, but it should only allow them to stay fresh with a deeper rotation. Ford should still see plenty of the field on Sundays with his improved play.

Ford recorded 3.5 sacks along with five tackles Sunday against the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Ford now has six sacks in his last four games and is absolutely on fire. WIth the Chiefs hoping for a return to the lineup from Justin Houston (knee) in the near furture, the Kansas City coaching staff may need to figure out a way to get these two outstanding pass rushers on the field. However, until there's clarity as to how the roles will be assigned when Houston returns, Ford's value won't be clear.

Ford made his presence felt in Sunday's game against the Colts, recording 3.5 sacks and five tackles (two solo).
EDGE Analysis
Ford doubled his sack output on the season with Sunday's performance and has begun showing flashes of why the Chiefs selected him 23rd overall in the 2014 NFL Draft. He now owns seven sacks in seven games, putting him on pace for an impressive 16-sack season.

Ford forced a fumble, recorded two sacks and notched five tackles Sunday against the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
Ford has recorded at least half a sack in three different matchups, and he now has 3.5 on the season. He's half a sack short of his 2015 total, and it's looking as if the third-year linebacker is starting to reach the potential that the Chiefs saw in him when selecting him in the first round of the 2014 draft. In addition, after posting low tackle numbers to start the season, he's shown improvement by recording 11 of them over the last two contests. Despite his tackle numbers, his ability to get to the quarterback makes him a player to target in IDP leagues.

Ford is slated to start at outside linebacker in place of the injured Justin Houston (knee), the Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Tamba Hali (knee) also ailing, Ford could end up being the team's top pass-rusher entering the season. The 2014 first-round pick hasn't lived up to his billing at this point in his career but will get an extended chance to start doing so early in 2016.

Ford (knee) left each of the final two days of minicamp because of tendinitis in his knee, The Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ford was reported to have left minicamp with a "sore knee", spelling concern over potential structural damage. However, Ford has reportedly avoided any such catastrophe, leaving head coach Andy Reid to say that his 2014 first round pick will be fine for training camp.

Ford left Wednesday's practice early with a sore knee, Terez A. Paylor of The Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ford, Kansas City's 2014 first-round draft pick, has been working with the first-team defense throughout the offseason as Justin Houston (knee) and Tamba Hali (knee) remain on the sideline. Fortunately for Ford, however, his knee injury doesn't appear to be nearly as costly as the ones suffered by his aforementioned pass-rushing counterparts; Ford was observed walking off the practice field under his own power, and the team has expressed minimal concern over the matter thus far. For now, Ford should be considered questionable for the Chiefs' final day of minicamp, but, until further notice, he should be just fine for training camp come August. In Ford's absence, Dezman Moses slid into the first-team lineup.

Ford (concussion/wrist) is listed as active Saturday in Houston, BJ Kissel of the Chiefs' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ford suffered a concussion in the season finale yet progressed through the protocol quickly, completing full practice sessions both Thursday and Friday. The second-year pro is merely a situational LB, though, after totaling four sacks among 23 tackles this season.

Ford (concussion/wrist) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Given that Ford practiced fully, we'd expect him to be a go Saturday, though after having recorded just 23 tackles and 4.0 sacks in 14 games this season, he's only an option in deeper IDP formats.
