Hall (knee) will open Redskins training camp on the physically unable to perform list, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hall is still working his way back from a torn ACL he sustained last September, so it's not surprising that he'll remain limited when camp begins. In recognition of his advancing age and troublesome injury history, Hall agreed to restructure his contract to remain with the Redskins in 2017, but it remains to be seen how effectively he'll be able to play coming off a major setback. The Redskins likely have him pegged for a backup role at free safety after signing D.J. Swearinger to a three-year deal in March.

Hall (knee) restructured his contract for the upcoming season and will now make a base salary of $2.3M instead of $4.25M, Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hall, who continues to rehab from a torn ACL suffered in Week 3 of the 2016 season, will be entering his 14th year in the league. Hall said that he could have gotten a decent payday by going into the field of broadcasting, but he still has passion for the game and wants to get back on the field while he physically can.

Hall (knee) is not sure if he will be able to participate when training camp opens up July 27, Rich Tandler of CSNMidAtlantic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hall and the team just successfully completed a revised contract in order to reflect the amount of time he has missed in recent seasons. The veteran missed just three games in his first six seasons with the Redskins before missing 31 total over his last three. He has agreed to lower his $4.25 million base salary for this season down to $2.3 million. He has been sidelined since tearing his ACL in Week 3 of last season, and could potentially be in danger of starting the season on the PUP list.

Hall (knee) remains without a specific target date in terms of a potential return, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Redskins coach Jay Gruden said Hall may need to start the season on the PUP list as he continues to recover from a torn ACL, which he suffered in Week 3 of the 2016 season. The team added insurance at safety in case Hall doesn't work out, signing D.J. Swearinger and moving Su'a Cravens to safety as well. Getting back to full health will be step No. 1 for Hall, but the 33-year-old still needs to prove he can play at a high level upon his eventual return.

Hall (knee) has expressed desire to return to Washington next season, Jake Kring-Schreifels of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hall said of the situation, "I would love to return to [play next year]. I think there's still a lot of plays out there I can make...We'll see, but I'm definitely trying to get back out there and play. I feel I can help us win games, I feel like I can make plays. We'll see though." The veteran safety tore his ACL during Week 3's win over the Giants and hasn't played a full season the past three years with Washington. It has been reported that the 33-year-old is ahead of schedule in the rehabbing process, but still has a ways to go to return to full health. Hall also noted he is open to restructuring the final year of his contract in order to give the team more cap space. Look for more updates on his situation to come throughout the offseason.

Hall's (knee) MRI revealed a torn ACL, effectively ruling him out for the remainder of this season, Erin Hawksworth of ABC 7 News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hall went down just before halftime of Sunday's win over the Giants. Unfortunately, it's not the first time the 32-year-old has seen his season cut short due to injury, especially lately, as Hall has now played just 17 games over the past three seasons. With him unavailable going forward, Will Blackmon could be promoted to the Redskins' starting free safety position.

Hall is out for the rest of Sunday's game with a sprained knee, Mark Ortega of NFL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hall suffered the injury right before halftime and it was determined that he would be unable to return for the second half. It wouldn't be surprising to see him miss some additional time as well. If Hall is forced take an extended absence, expect his role to be filled by Will Blackmon.

Hall is penciled in as Washington's starting free safety at this point in the offseason, Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
With only scraps remaining on the free-agent market and the NFL Draft less than a month in the future, Hall remains a mainstay of Washington's secondary. After putting together four consecutive complete campaigns from 2010 through 2013, an array of injuries have limited him to 14 appearances the past two seasons, during which he totaled 64 tackles (51 solo), two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one defensive touchdown. The production is a far cry from the peak of his career, especially with no picks on the ledger during that stretch, but the 32-year-old currently has no competition at strong safety.

Hall (calf) is active Sunday against the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
After missing practice on Wednesday, Hall put in limited sessions on Thursday and Friday and will see time in the lineup at strong safety. With Washington having nothing to play for, it's difficult to know how many snaps he'll end up seeing. Over his last three games, he's recovered a fumble while piling up 19 tackles.

Hall injured his calf in Saturday's win over the Eagles, the Washington Post's Master Tesfatsion reports.
EDGE Analysis
Regardless of his ability to play, Hall may be held out of Sunday's meaningless game against the Cowboys. And even if he ends up playing, it would be quite surprising if he stayed in for the entire game.
