Landry is visiting the Bills on Tuesday, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports.
Landry is a Rex Ryan favorite, having previously played for the Bills' new head coach in Baltimore and New York. The 32-year-old safety has quietly recorded 97 or more tackles in each of the last five seasons, and he'd likely start over Duke Williams in Buffalo.

Jets S Dawan Landry worked with the second-team defense during spring practices.
Landry will need a strong camp if he wants to crack the starting lineup. Rookie S Calvin Pryor is almost guaranteed to start, and S Antonio Allen is the clear front-runner for the other starting job. Even though Landry is unlikely to start, he should see plenty of snaps in the Jets' three-safety alignment.

Jets SS Dawan Landry has been working with the third-team defense at OTAs.
Coach Rex Ryan said to not read much into it, but we're going to. Landry is due a $1.5 million base salary in the final year of his deal and is entering his age-32 season. He's reliable and hasn't missed a start in five seasons, but Landry simply doesn't make plays. He has just two interceptions, one sack, and zero forced fumbles the past two seasons. The Jets drafted Calvin Pryor in the first round and are high on Antonio Allen. Landry would be a capable No. 3.

Jets agreed to terms with S Dawan Landry, formerly of the Jaguars.
He'll replace his brother, LaRon, who moved on to the Colts after turning in a Pro Bowl season in 2012. Dawan has been a full-time starter since coming into the league in 2006, but is coming off a sub-par campaign for the lowly Jags. Primarily a run-stopper, Dawan should benefit from his reunion with coach Rex Ryan, who served as his defensive coordinator with the Ravens from 2006-08.

The New York Daily News reports the Jets are interested in free agent S Dawan Landry.
Why not add another Landry? The Jets had Dawan's brother, LaRon, in New York last season, but he recently bolted for greener pastures in Indianapolis. Dawan, the elder brother at 30 years old, was released by the Jaguars last week. He had 100 tackles last years as more of an in-the-box safety.

Jaguars released S Dawan Landry.
LaRon's brother signed a five-year, $27.5 million deal after the lockout, but was a disappointment his two years in Jacksonville. He graded out negatively in Pro Football Focus' ratings in each of 2011 and 2012, underwhelming against the run while intercepting just three passes. The Jags are so eager to move on they're willing to eat $3.9 million in "dead money." They're remaking former GM Gene Smith's broken roster from the bottom up.

Free agent SS Dawan Landry is on the verge of a five-year deal with the Jaguars.
The Jags are going to settle for Landry after missing out on the top prize, Eric Weddle. Look for a deal to be finalized as soon as this morning.

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora is confident that free agent SS Dawan Landry will land with the Jaguars.
The Florida Times Union has also reported on the Jags' interest in Landry. Jacksonville missed out on Eric Weddle when he re-signed with the Chargers Wednesday, so their sights now look to be set on Ed Reed's old running mate. Somewhat surprisingly, free agent Michael Huff is generating no buzz.
