Colts FS David Caldwell underwent surgery two weeks ago to repair a chipped bone in his left foot. Caldwell expects to be ready for training camp after watching Tuesday's practice on crutches. Forced into a major role at free safety last year, Caldwell held his own in run support but was slightly below average in coverage.
