Hayward was placed on IR ahead of Week 7, and Hall stepped up as the starting cornerback opposite of A.J. Terrell, recoding six tackles while playing all 66 defensive snaps. EDGE Analysis
Whether the San Diego State product plays safety or cornerback for the Falcons is probably inconsequential as the redshirt junior is known as a playmaker with good instincts in the secondary. While he doesn't possess plus athleticism, the 22-year-old makes up for it with a bit of grit and tenacity on the outside, which should prove fruitful in a young secondary.
