Clement (illness) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Clement was held out of Wednesday's practice entirely due to an illness, but he's already managed to return in full capacity. He'll suit up as Philadelphia's third running back, behind Miles Sanders and Boston Scott, versus the Bengals on Sunday.

Clement did not practice Wednesday due to an illness.
EDGE Analysis
Clement should manage to suit up against the Bengals on Sunday as long as he's able to shake his illness before the contest. The 25-year-old didn't see any touches Week 2 with Miles Sanders back in the lineup, so Clement's status won't carry much of a fantasy impact one way or another.

Clement carried six times for 19 yards and caught both his targets for an additional two yards during Sunday's 27-17 loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
In the absence of Miles Sanders (hamstring), Clement received his first offensive touches since the 2018 season. He averaged an underwhelming 3.2 yards per carry and did next to nothing as a receiver outside of an eight-yard gain. Clement could play a role next Sunday against the Rams if Sanders remains out, but even if he does, he seems like a longshot for notable fantasy production.

Clement is slated for an increased role in Sunday's game versus Washington following news that Miles Sanders (hamstring) has been ruled out, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Boston Scott is expected to be the main beneficiary of Sanders' absence, but Clement should garner a decent amount of touches as well. While the 25-year-old running back barely played last year, he's been a formidable depth option and has averaged 4.1 yards per carry in his career while displaying solid pass-catching abilities. He's worth fantasy consideration in deeper formats.

Clement (quadriceps) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest in Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Limited by a quad injury Thursday, Clement returned as a full participant to close out Week 1 preparations. With starting running back Miles Sanders (hamstring) questionable for Sunday, the possibility exists for some touches to filter down to Boston Scott, Clement and Jason Huntley this weekend.

Clement was limited in Thursday's practice due to a quadriceps injury.
EDGE Analysis
Clement wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, a hint that he sustained his quadriceps injury during practice. With Miles Sanders (hamstring) also dealing with an injury, the Eagles could lean on Boston Scott to handle an increased workload in Washington on Sunday.

Clement opened Wednesday's practice as the Eagles' first-team running back, Daniel Gallen of The Harrisburg Patriot-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The report notes that Elijah Holyfield also rotated in with the first-team at times on Wednesday. The reason for the arrangement is that lead back Miles Sanders is week-to-week with a lower body injury, while his top backup Boston Scott is day-to-day with a lower body issue. Injuries derailed Clement's 2019 campaign, but if he looks good while filling in for Sanders and Scott, he'll help his case to secure a complementary role in the team's backfield this season.

Clement should have a role for the Eagles this year, Mike Kaye of NJ.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clement was one of the unexpected heroes of Super Bowl LII, putting up a 4-100-1 receiving line to finish out a rookie season that he'd started as an undrafted special teams player. Injuries then limited him to 15 games the past two years, but he was cleared from shoulder surgery in April when he re-signed with the Eagles on a veteran minimum contract. Running backs coach Duce Staley and special teams coordinator Dave Fipp both praised Clement recently, perhaps hinting at a rebound season for the 25-year-old. While he doesn't have any one skill that stands out, Clement's combination of size, pass-catching competence and special teams experience makes him a sensible choice for the third or fourth RB spot on an NFL roster. He'll likely start training camp as the No. 3 choice behind Miles Sanders and Boston Scott.

Clement signed a one-year contract with the Eagles on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Philadelphia opted not to tender the 25-year-old a contract as a restricted free agent in March, but the team is now bringing him back on a more affordable deal. Clement had a solid rookie campaign as an undrafted free agent in 2017, but he's been limited by injury to 15 games over the past two seasons. The Eagles didn't add any running backs during the 2020 NFL Draft, so the Wisconsin product figures to compete for the backup slotting behind No. 1 option Miles Sanders.

Clement (shoulder) received medical clearance Monday, NJ.com's Mike Kaye reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Super Bowl XXXIX hero has struggled with injuries ever since his big moment, limited to 15 games and 259 rushing yards over the past two seasons. Now that he's been cleared from October surgery, the unrestricted free agent hopes to re-sign with the Eagles. Regardless of where he ends up signing, Clement will need to compete for a spot on the 53-man roster, considering he's played nearly as many snaps on special teams (474) as on offense (497) in three NFL seasons.
