Clement carried the ball six times for 20 yards and caught his only target for five yards in Sunday's 43-3 win over the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
It was the most work the former Eagle has seen in a game yet for the Cowboys, but Clement's touches came in the fourth quarter of a blowout win. As long as Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard are healthy, Clement's primary value to Dallas will come on special teams.

Clement (illness) is not listed on the Cowboys' final injury report heading into Sunday's matchup with the Falcons, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clement missed consecutive practices earlier in the week due to an illness before logging a full workload Friday. Barring any setbacks, look for him to take on his usual role on special teams, as well as to provide depth at running back.

Clement (illness) didn't participate in Thursday's practice session, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clement was held out of practice for a second straight day as he continues to deal with an illness. If he hopes to suit up Sunday against Atlanta, he'll likely need to practice in some form Friday.

Clement agreed Wednesday with Dallas on a one-year deal, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clement arrives in Dallas as the No. 3 back, and he's unlikely to get snaps on offense unless Ezekiel Elliott or Tony Pollard suffers an injury or the Cowboys are in the closing minutes of a blowout. Instead, Clement is mostly expected to make his mark on special teams, something he did for the Eagles in 2017 before emerging as an unlikely rookie hero in the team's run to the Super Bowl. While he hasn't done anything of interest to fantasy managers since his debut campaign, Clement logged 268 snaps on special teams for the Eagles last year. He then landed with the Giants this offseason, but Big Blue settled on Devontae Booker and Gary Brightwell as the depth options behind Saquon Barkley (knee). Meanwhile, Clement has now been rostered by three of the four NFC East teams this calendar year.

Clement was cut by the Giants on Tuesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Early camp reports hinted at Clement pushing Devontae Booker for a backup role, but it seems instead the former Eagle was surpassed by rookie sixth-round pick Gary Brightwell. Clement can block, catch passes and play special teams; it's his lack of explosiveness as a runner that seems to be the issue.

Clement rushed four times for 24 yards in Sunday's 22-20 preseason loss to the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
Clement outplayed starter Devontae Booker, who finished with just 17 yards on eight total touches. Nonetheless, as the regular season approaches, it still appears Booker is the favorite to serve as Saquon Barkley's (knee) top understudy. However, if Barkley is slowed at all, Clement could find more opportunities to see the field, beginning with Week 1's matchup versus the Broncos.

Clement rushed nine times for 30 yards in Sunday's 17-13 preseason loss to the Browns.
EDGE Analysis
Clement entered the game after Devontae Booker started and managed 40 yards and a touchdown from eight touches over New York's first two drives. Although Clement protected the ball after fumbling in his first preseason outing, Booker's superior performance should keep him as the Giants' top backup behind Saquon Barkley heading into next weekend's exhibition finale.

Clement rushed five times for 32 yards and lost a fumble in Saturday's 12-7 preseason loss to the Jets. He wasn't targeted in the passing game.
EDGE Analysis
Devontae Booker got the start, suggesting he's currently above Clement in the running back pecking order after Barkley. Clement found space effectively but lost a crucial fumble at the Jets' three-yard line on 1st-and-goal. The former Eagles running back will look to improve his ball security in Week 2 of preseason against Cleveland.

Clement is outperforming Devontae Booker at Giants training camp, according to Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger.
EDGE Analysis
With Saquon Barkley (knee) on the PUP list, Booker has mostly worked as the top running back in practice, as was expected after he signed a two-year, $6 million contract in March. Clement settled for a one-year, $990,000 deal a couple months later, but it sounds like he's now pushing Booker for what could be the Week 1 starting job (if Barkley isn't ready). The Giants also have Alfred Morris and rookie sixth-round pick Gary Brightwell in the backfield, though the latter reportedly hasn't seen many reps on offense at training camp.

Clement has signed a contract with the Giants, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clement appeared in 15 games with the Eagles last season but played a minimal role on offense, totaling just 26 touches. He featured more prominently on special teams, where Clement has some experience returning punts and kicks. Clement's versatility should give him the inside track when it comes to securing a spot on the Giants' roster, but he'll need to earn that spot in preseason.
