Eric Ebron (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Philadelphia, leaving Wick, Khari Lee and Clay Harbor as the Lions' healthy tight ends, the Detroit Free press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wick is the likely starter, or at least the best bet to have a significant role in the passing game. Lee is more or less a blocking specialist, while Harbor has some receiving ability but was just added to the roster earlier this week. Wick, an undrafted rookie, isn't exactly an elite prospect in his own right, but he has at least been with the Lions since training camp, which is more than either of the team's other two healthy tight ends can say. Ebron's absence may ultimately just leave more targets for the Detroit wide receivers and running backs, but Wick could warrant a dart throw in deeper leagues.

Wick (shoulder) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Wick was unable to play during the Lions' Week 2 loss to the Titans, but he's already back on the practice field in full capacity. His status for Week 3 against the Packers looks promising, while projected starting tight end Eric Ebron (back) is considered questionable at this point.

Wick (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's Week 2 matchup versus the Titans, Tim Twentyman of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie tight end was unable to practice on either Thursday or Friday after having managed a limited session on Wednesday. With Brandon Pettigrew (knee) on the PUP list and offseason acquisition Andrew Quarless (suspension) out for one more game as well, Eric Ebron and Orson Charles slot as the top two tight ends on the Lions roster Sunday.

Wick (shoulder) is questionable for the Lions' Week 2 matchup with the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
Wick managed a limited practice session Wednesday, but was sidelined both Thursday and Friday. Thus, the only Incarnate Word alumnus in NFL history appears unlikely to play Sunday, but his status will be officially confirmed prior to kickoff.

Wick (shoulder) did not participant in practice on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Wick continues to nurse a shoulder injury after being a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. His absence from the field on Thursday is not a reassuring sign that he'll be ready for Sunday's game agains the Titans. Look for more updates to come later in the week.

Wick (shoulder) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Wick is dealing with what appears to be a minor shoulder injury, and could be in danger of missing Sunday's game against the Titans. Although he's listed as the No. 2 option at tight end behind Eric Ebron until Brandon Pettigrew (knee) returns, Wick doesn't have much fantasy value at this point as he failed to see many snaps Week 1 against the Colts.

Wick was on the field for just 21.5 percent of Detroit's offensive snaps during the Lions' 39-35 victory over the Colts on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Wick flashed as a receiver in the preseason, but remains the clear backup to Eric Ebron until Brandon Pettigrew (knee) returns. Evidence of such is the fact that Ebron dominated the offensive snaps in this contest, which is a trend that is likely to continue moving forward. Coupled with Stafford's propensity to spread the ball around under OC Jim Bob Cooter, Wick is clearly off the fantasy radar.

Wick is positioned as one of Detroit's top tight ends in the wake of Eric Ebron's Achilles injury, MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Ebron currently sidelined for an undetermined period of time and Detroit's top in-line tight end Brandon Pettigrew (knee) still residing on the team's PUP list, Wick and Matthew Mulligan project as the Lions' top tight ends for the time being. However, Mulligan, a nine-year NFL veteran, has just eight career receptions to his name and Pettigrew isn't much of a receiving threat either. Wick is a more capable receiver than both, as evidenced by his touchdown reception during Detroit's annual mock game, and appears to be the leading candidate to take over Ebron's slot role in OC Jim Bob Cooter's offense should Ebron miss time.
