Colts TE Coby Fleener is undergoing an MRI on his shoulder Monday. Fleener returned after suffering the injury late in the first half of Sunday's win, but was ineffective and finished with 24 yards on two receptions. A fantasy non-factor, Fleener is averaging 32 yards per game without a touchdown.

Colts rookie TE Coby Fleener caught two passes for 17 yards in Week 7. A rotating role player tight end in an Indy offense that spreads the wealth behind Reggie Wayne, Fleener has been quiet this season and will likely continue to be. He offers too little week-to-week upside to roster as a TE2.

Coby Fleener caught five passes for 41 yards in Indy's Week 5 win over the Packers. It was a nice afternoon for Fleener after he combined for just two catches in Weeks 2 and 3, but he watched fellow rookie Dwayne Allen post a 4/38/1 line. Fleener drew a health nine targets, but it was largely a function of Andrew Luck attempting 55 passes with the Colts in comeback mode all afternoon. Fleener has loads of raw talent, but is likely to remain an inconsistent TE2 in his first season.

Fleener was never officially diagnosed with a concussion, but that's presumably what he's returning from coming off the Colts' Week 4 bye. Fleener caught six passes for 82 yards in his NFL debut, but was held to two catches in Week 2 and zero in Week 3. He's a low upside TE2 for the time being.

Fleener has presumably been cleared if he's gotten in two straight full practices, so the "questionable" tag can be taken as a formality. He's Rotoworld's No. 20 tight end for Week 5.

There's still been no official word on if Fleener's "head" injury is indeed a concussion, or if he's been cleared to return, but the upgrade to full practice is a strong indication he'll be active Sunday. Regardless, with just two catches over his past two games, Fleener can't be trusted as a TE2 for the time being.

Fleener was shutout of the aerial attack until he hauled in three receptions in the two-minute drill just before halftime. He added two more catches early in the third quarter before garbage time. We'd like to see more consistency outside of the two-minute offense before recommending Fleener as a viable fantasy starter. He draws the Vikings in Week 2.

Colts rookie TE Coby Fleener failed to record a catch on one target in Saturday's preseason game against the Redskins. Andrew Luck made heavy use of his wide receivers, throwing only two passes to the tight end position. Fleener has four catches for 38 yards this preseason and will line up as the team's primary in-line tight end when Week 1 rolls around. For now, Fleener's primary fantasy appeal is in dynasty leagues.
