Saints released LB Clint Ingram. Ingram missed all of 2010 as he recovered from microfracture surgery. The Saints' linebacker corps was simply too crowded for the sixth-year pro. Also released or waived by the Saints today were QB Sean Canfield, WR Andy Tanner, CB Terrail Lambert, LS Kyle Nelson, LB Nate Bussey, C Cecil Newton, WR Jarred Fayson and TE Michael Higgins.

Saints signed LB Clint Ingram. The Saints had Ingram in camp last year as well before injuries ended up in his October release. Now he'll be back at a crowded strong-side linebacker spot and will try to win a job on special teams. Rookie Martez Wilson is currently the starter on the strong side.
