The Jaguars are expected to place Kirk (groin) on injured reserve Friday, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per Wolfe, Kirk will require surgery to address a core muscle/groin injury. Once the wideout lands on IR, he would miss at least the next four games, making him ineligible to return to the Jacksonville lineup until Week 18. Kirk's upcoming absence should open up a few extra looks in the passing game for Calvin Ridley, Zay Jones and Evan Engram, while rookie Parker Washington -- who recorded six catches for 61 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 34-31 overtime loss to Cincinnati -- should settle into a regular role in three-receiver sets.

Coach Doug Pederson said Tuesday that Kirk will "miss some time" due to the core muscle injury that he suffered during Monday's 34-31 overtime defeat to the Bengals, Mark Long of the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kirk departed following a 26-yard catch on the Jaguars' first offensive play of the game with what was termed a groin injury at the time. He later was ruled out after halftime. Pederson already has said Kirk won't be available for Sunday's game at Cleveland, so Jacksonville's available wide receivers Week 14 will be Calvin Ridley, Zay Jones, Parker Washington, Tim Jones and potentially Elijah Cooks. Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Kirk may require surgery to address the issue, which likely would sideline him until the later stages of the playoffs, assuming the team makes a run.

Kirk (groin) will not return to Monday's matchup with the Bengals, Mark Long of the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kirk tweaked his groin on a 26-yard reception on the Jaguars' first offensive play and subsequently limped to the locker room under his own power. In his absence, Zay Jones figures to continue seeing No. 2 receiver reps alongside Calvin Ridley, while Tim Jones and Parker Washington also could see some snaps.

Kirk is questionable to return to Monday's matchup with the Bengals due to a groin injury, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union
EDGE Analysis
Kirk was able to limp to the locker room under his own power. He suffered the injury on a 26-yard connection with quarterback Trevor Lawrence on the Jags' first offensive play. Zay Jones would be the primary beneficiary if Kirk is unable to return, while Tim Jones and Parker Washington also could see increased reps.

Kirk caught four of seven targets for 89 yards in Sunday's 24-21 win over the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Kirk stepped out of bounds on the 1-yard line at the end of a 57-yard catch with one second left in the first half. That play helped him ultimately tie for the team lead in receiving yards with Calvin Ridley, though Ridley scored his third touchdown in the past two games while Kirk has been stuck on three touchdowns since Week 7. Despite Ridley's recent uptick in production, Kirk still leads the team with 761 receiving yards heading into a Week 13 Monday Night Football home game against the Bengals.

Kirk recorded three receptions on six targets for 48 yards in Sunday's 34-14 win over the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
Kirk has spent much of the season as the Jaguars' top target, though he took a backseat to Calvin Ridley in the Week 11 win. Despite fairly consistent volume, Kirk now has fewer than 50 receiving yards in three of his last five games after failing to reach that mark only once in his first five contests of the season. Zay Jones also returned to the field against the Titans, and he could lead Trevor Lawrence to further disperse targets moving forward.

Kirk caught six of 11 targets for 104 yards and lost a fumble in Sunday's 34-3 loss to the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Kirk was the only member of Jacksonville's offense that found a modicum of success against San Francisco's stout defense, as no teammate produced more than 44 scrimmage yards. His fumble was a costly one, though, as it came on San Francisco's 6-yard line. Kirk entered Week 10 one target shy of tight end Evan Engram's team lead, but Kirk surpassed Engram in that category and now leads the Jaguars in targets (71) and receiving yards (624), as well as receiving touchdowns (three). The wide receiver will have a nice opportunity to add to those totals in Week 11 against Tennessee's underwhelming secondary, one day after his 27th birthday.

Kirk caught four of five targets for 46 yards in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Steelers.
EDGE Analysis
Kirk came into the game leading Jacksonville in targets and receiving yards, but he finished fourth on the team in both categories in this one behind Evan Engram, Calvin Ridley and Travis Etienne. Those four players account for the majority of the Jaguars' scrimmage yards, but one or two usually take a back seat on any given week. Kirk drew the short straw this time but will look to build on his season totals of 43 catches for 520 yards and three touchdowns on 60 targets when the Jaguars face the 49ers in Week 10 after a Week 9 bye.

Kirk secured all six targets for 90 yards and a touchdown and lost a fumble in the Jaguars' 31-24 win over the Saints on Thursday night.
EDGE Analysis
Kirk led the Jaguars in receptions and receiving yards on the night, with his 44-yard catch and run touchdown just before the three-minute mark of the fourth quarter ultimately proving to be the difference in the game. The reception was Kirk's second of over 40 yards this season and helped atone for a first-quarter lost fumble that didn't lead to any points for New Orleans. Kirk's yardage total was his highest since Week 2, and he'll next take on the inconsistent Steelers secondary during a Week 8 road matchup a week from Sunday.

Kirk brought in three of six targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' 37-20 win over the Colts on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Kirk's yardage total, modest as it was, led the Jaguars on a day when Trevor Lawrence (knee) threw for just 181 yards. However, Kirk did come down with one of Lawrence's two scoring tosses, recording a 29-yard grab with 1:40 remaining in the second quarter, the receiver's second touchdown of the campaign. Kirk now has at least six targets in five consecutive contests heading into a Week 7 road matchup against the Saints on Thursday night.
