Giants signed C Chris White, formerly of the Seahawks. He's likely just a camp body in New York. White, 28, has started only eight games since entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He's a practice body until newly signed starter David Baas becomes eligible on August 4.

Seahawks released G/C Chris White, DL Barrett Moen, S James Brindley, and LB Joe Pawalek. They were camp body types. White had the most experience of the group and was once considered a solid zone-blocking prospect. It's a bad sign for his career that the Seahawks cut him after hiring zone-blocking guru OL coach Tom Cable.
