EDGE Analysis
Tyree went undrafted out of Notre Dame earlier this year and signed with the Saints. However, he was injured early on during training camp and eventually cut with an injury settlement. Tyree is still waiting to make his regular-season NFL debut.

New Orleans waived Tyree (undisclosed) from its injured reserve list Tuesday with an injury settlement, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It looked as though Tyree was going to have to spend the entire 2025 campaign on the Saints' injured reserve list, but he'll now get to test the waters of free agency instead. It might be on another team to give him another opportunity once he's fully healthy again.

Tyree was not claimed by another team after the Saints waived him with an undisclosed injury Sunday, and now he's back with the club on IR. Unless he can work out an injury settlement with New Orleans, he's set to spend the entire 2025 season there.

EDGE Analysis
Tyree will revert to season-ending IR if he goes unclaimed on waivers. In that event, Tyree's only path to suiting up for action in 2025 will be to reach an injury settlement with New Orleans. He signed with the team in April after going undrafted out of Notre Dame.
