Olave caught seven of 11 targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 26-14 win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The catches and targets were both team highs, but Olave's output was overshadowed by an 87-yard TD by Rashid Shaheed in the second quarter that sparked the Saints' offense to life. Olave remains the the top option for QB Spencer Rattler, but his volume hasn't resulted in any big performances yet in 2025 -- despite seeing double-digit targets in four of five games and 53 looks in total, he sports just a 33-244-1 line, and Sunday's 59 receiving yards were actually his season high. He'll try to make a bigger impact in Week 6 against the Patriots.

Olave hauled in three of six targets for 20 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 31-19 defeat versus the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Olave logged his first touchdown of the season with a three-yard scoring grab in the third quarter. This was the silver lining, as he posted season lows in catches, targets and yards, while the Saints had more rushing attempts (34) than passing attempts (28) for the first time this season. Olave also threw an interception on his first career passing attempt. The fifth-year wideout tried to hit quarterback Spencer Rattler on a Philly Special-style trick play in the red zone, but the Bills sniffed out the play and picked it off to end the second quarter. Olave has shown good PPR value through four weeks, averaging 6.5 catches on 10.5 targets per game, but he's yet to record over 57 receiving yards in any contest. He'll look to record double-digit targets for the fourth time this season during New Orleans' next game versus the Giants on Sunday, Oct. 5.

Olave hauled in 10 of 14 targets for 57 yards in Sunday's 44-13 loss to the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Olave wound up playing pitch-and-catch with QB Spencer Rattler in the blowout loss, resulting in a longest reception of nine yards despite the duo connecting on 10 passes Sunday. The 25-year-old Olave still produced strong results for those in PPR formats, but he remains scoreless through the Saints' first three contests. The lack of touchdown potential limits Olave's fantasy ceiling in standard formats heading into next Sunday's tilt against the Bills.

Olave caught six of 10 targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 26-21 loss to the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
The fourth-year wideout led the Saints in volume once again while seeing double-digit targets from Spencer Rattler for the second straight game. Olave is still looking for his first TD, and his first breakout performance, of 2025, but his usage in new head coach Kellen Moore's scheme suggests both will come in due time. Olave will take on a Seahawks secondary in Week 3 that has been stingy so far against WRs, but which did give up a TD to DK Metcalf in Week 2.

Olave caught seven of 13 targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The oft-injured wideout went to the sideline early in the game with what was reported to be a chest injury, but Olave quickly returned and wound up leading the Saints in targets. Meanwhile, tight end Juwan Johnson surpassed him in catches and yards. New Orleans' passing game under new coach Kellen Moore could be a boon to all the team's top pass catchers, as Spencer Rattler attempted a career-high 46 passes despite the fact that the score remained fairly close the whole way. Olave will look to stay on the field and continue building chemistry with Rattler in a Week 2 home clash against the 49ers.

Olave brought in all three targets for 29 yards in the Saints' 28-19 preseason loss to the Broncos on Saturday afternoon.
EDGE Analysis
Olave finished in a three-way tie for the team lead in receptions while profiling as the runner-up in receiving yards. The 2022 first-round pick made catches of 12, seven and 10 yards while working with Spencer Rattler on the Saints' first three drives, and he'll head into the regular season poised to reprise his No. 1 receiver role while working with either Rattler or rookie Tyler Shough as his quarterback.

Olave (ankle) caught two of four targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 17-17 preseason tie against the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
Olave saw his first game action since Week 9 of the 2024 regular season, when he suffered a season-ending concussion. He then missed the Saints' preseason opener against the Chargers due to an ankle injury. The 2022 first-round pick has regained health, but he could be held back by questionable quarterback play in 2025. Both of Olave's catches Sunday came on passes from rookie second-round pick Tyler Shough, who is competing against Spencer Rattler for the starting role after Derek Carr retired in the offseason. New Orleans hasn't settled on a starting QB ahead of the team's final preseason game against the Broncos on Saturday.

Olave (ankle) is suited up and participating in pregame warmups ahead of Sunday's preseason contest against the Jaguars, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.
EDGE Analysis
Olave has been dealing with an ankle injury and was sidelined for the Saints' preseason opener against the Chargers. He'll join Alvin Kamara and Rashid Shaheed in warmups, but it's far from a guarantee that Olave sees the field Sunday, and even if he does he would likely be limited to one or two offensive series. The Saints' depth wideouts should see the bulk of the workload Sunday, including Brandin Cooks, Cedrick Wilson, Mason Tipton and Kevin Austin.

Based on pregame warmups, Olave (ankle) is not in line to play in Sunday's preseason opener against the Chargers, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neither Olave nor Rashid Shaheed were spotted warming up with the other Saints wideouts, though the latter was later spotted in uniform warming up with the punt return group, per Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana. Olave is working through a minor ankle injury, and his next opportunity to suit up will be against the Jaguars on Sunday, Aug. 17.

Olave did not participate in Friday's training camp practice after injuring his ankle during Thursday's session, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
EDGE Analysis
Olave was able to finish Thursday's practice after getting his ankle taped, and the injury is considered day-to-day, per Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football. It could prevent Olave from playing in Sunday's preseason game against the Chargers, which would open the door for Bub Means and Cedrick Wilson to work with Rashid Shaheed and Brandin Cooks in three-wideout sets.
