Steelers waived LB Chris Ellis, CB Niles Brinkley, NT Anthony Gray and WR Terrence McCrae. Ellis was the Bills' 2008 third-round pick that has appeared in just 15 games during his three-year career. He may want to find a home as a 4-3 end instead of trying to fit as a 3-4 outside linebacker.
