Carson ran for 30 yards on 13 carries against San Francisco on Sunday, adding a one-yard reception on one target.
EDGE Analysis
Carson didn't appear to deal with an injury or any other complication Sunday, yet his workload was capped at 14 touches from scrimmage in a game during which backup runner Alex Collins saw 10 carries and two targets. Collins was significantly more productive, producing 44 yards and a touchdown on the ground to go with two receptions for 34 yards. It's possible that the Seahawks were looking to contain Carson's workload in anticipation of facing the Rams on a short week Thursday, but this was his third game in a row with 13 carries, and if Collins continues to make his presence felt it probably wouldn't be good for Carson's fantasy interests.

Carson carried the ball 12 times for 80 yards and a touchdown and caught both his targets for two yards in Sunday's 30-17 loss to the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
The fifth-year back had a big first half and scored on a 30-yard romp early in the second quarter, but Carson only saw three touches after halftime as the Seahawks' offense stagnated. He's now found the end zone three times in the last two games, and he could need to hit paydirt again in Week 4 in a tough road clash with the 49ers.

Carson rushed 13 times for 31 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 33-30 loss to the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
The Seahawks shifted to a pass-heavy game plan Sunday, but Carson was the clear lead back, logging 13 of the team's 14 running-back carries. He wasn't effective with his limited touches, recording 2.4 yards per carry. However, he cashed in with two goal-line scores. The Seahawks will travel to Minnesota for a Week 3 showdown next.

Carson rushed 16 times for 91 yards and caught all three targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 28-16 win over the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Carson did cough up a fumble, but it did not harm the Seahawks and he still churned out a solid fantasy day as the lead back. No other running back had more than two carries in this one. Rashaad Penny (calf) re-aggravated his leg injury, so Carson's hold on the starting job remains firm heading into a Week 2 matchup against the Titans.

Carson didn't play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Carson joined Russell Wilson, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett on the sidelines for the entire preseason. Even with Rashaad Penny back to full health, this is a clear indication that Carson is the unequivocal No. 1 running back in this offense. Still, the Seahawks tried to manage his reps last season, as he logged just 11.8 carries per game. However, the 26-year-old improved as a receiver with 37 receptions for 287 yards through 12 games, so he has intriguing upside in a high-powered offense as long as he stays healthy.

Carson didn't play in Saturday's preseason loss to the Broncos, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carson isn't injured; the Seahawks are providing him the same treatment that Russell Wilson, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are enjoying. After all, the 26-year-old is the clear No. 1 running back after signing a two-year, $10.43 million contract back in March. Carson has missed seven games over the last three seasons, but as long as he's healthy he's an intriguing fantasy option as the anchor back in a high-powered offense.

Carson will not play in Saturday's preseason opener against the Raiders, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carson is locked in as the Seahawks' starting running back, so the team will not expose him to injury in its first preseason contest.

The Seahawks and Carson agreed to a contract Friday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
With his return to Seattle settled, Carson again will rise to the top of the running back depth chart. He posted back-to-back seasons with at least 1,300 yards from scrimmage and exactly nine touchdowns in 2018 and 2019, but an injury-plagued campaign last fall limited him to 968 total yards and nine more scores in 12 games. Carson will look to get back to his form from a few years ago in 2021.

Carson isn't getting a franchise tag, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carson now becomes an unrestricted free agent at the start of the new league year March 17, unless the Seahawks sign him to a contract before then. Having made it this far without an extension or franchise tag, Carson likely will want to see what's available on the open market.

Carson rushed 16 times for 77 yards and caught one of two targets for five yards in Saturday's 30-20 wild-card loss to the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
The Seahawks' offense struggled to move the chains Saturday, but Carson was running hard once again, averaging 4.8 yards per carry. The 26-year-old running back had a down year as the Seahawks shifted to a more pass-heavy scheme than before. Carson rushed 141 times for 681 yards and five touchdowns over 12 games and 37 receptions (46 targets) for 287 yards and four touchdowns. His 4.8 yards per carry was a career high. The 2017 seventh-round pick is set to be an unrestricted free agent in March. His performance makes a strong case to be re-signed by the Seahawks. The fact that Rashaad Penny, DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer (knee) failed to produce this year helps Carson's cause as well.
