The Texans brought in Cox for a tryout Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cox previously signed with the Colts in June after missing the entirety of last season due to a torn Achilles. The defensive end last played with the Bills during the 2020 campaign, totaling 26 total snaps over his lone appearance that year.

Cox (Achilles) signed a contract with the Colts on Friday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The defensive end suffered a torn Achilles last June while with the Bills, but he will now join the Colts ahead of the 2022 campaign. Since being drafted in 2017, Cox has made 31 tackles and recovered a fumble while appearing in 26 games.

Cox has been placed on injured reserve after recently undergoing Achilles surgery, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Given that Cox required surgery and that the Bills signed two defensive linemen Tuesday, we doubt the veteran is coming back any time soon. Cox only saw action in one regular-season game for the Bills in 2020, so he might have faced an uphill climb to make the team anyway.

The Bills promoted Cox from their practice squad ahead of Monday's game against the Chiefs, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Buffalo is expected to make defensive linemen Trent Murphy and Harrison Phillips healthy inactives for the Week 6 contest, so Cox and Justin Zimmer were summoned on short notice to provide extra depth along the defensive front. Cox made six appearances with Carolina in 2019, notching 12 tackles and a half sack.

The Bills elected to waive Cox on Saturday, Ryan Talbot of New York Upstate reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cox inked a deal with the Bills this offseason after accumulating 12 tackles (nine solo) and 0.5 sacks across six games with the Browns last season. The 26-year-old will look to earn a depth roster spot elsewhere -- otherwise he could land back on Buffalo's practice squad for the 2020 campaign.

Cox signed a contract with Buffalo on Wednesday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bills Mafia is quite familiar with Cox's father, as Jr.'s dad played in the AFC East for many seasons and was known to have delivered an unfriendly gesture or two to the Buffalo fans. As for the son, he's floated around the league for a few years since going undrafted out of Florida in 2017, and he'll try to earn a depth role as part of a deep Buffalo line. He'll probably need to shine on special teams to land what might be considered a bit of a long-shot roster spot.

Cox was forced out of Sunday's game against the Bengals with a hand injury, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Since signing with the Browns on Nov. 13, Cox has slowly increased his playing time. The 25-year-old defensive end has logged above a 50-percent snap share in four of the last five games, recording eight tackles and 0.5 sacks in the process. Porter Gustin could see additional snaps in Cox's stead.

Cox signed with the Browns on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cox, the son of former Dolphins' LB Bryan Cox, brings depth to Cleveland's offensive line, but he won't play too big a role in IDP formats. The 25-year-old was recently let go by the Panthers after recording a pair of tackles in Week 9.

The Panthers waived Cox on Friday, Max Henson of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cox was waived to make room for Cole Luke on the 53-man roster. The third-year pro appeared in one game for the Panthers this season, playing 11 snaps on defense and recording two tackles (one solo) against the Titans in Week 9.

Cox was signed to the Panthers' 53-man roster Tuesday, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cox was let go by the Panthers at roster cutdowns but remained with the team on the practice squad. The 25-year-old played in 18 games over the past two years with Carolina, recording 16 tackles (eight solo) while serving as a rotational defensive end.
