Hector was claimed by the Lions off waivers on Tuesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Hector was claimed off waivers one day after the Titans released him. The 26-year old has played for the Panthers, Eagles, Cardinals and Titans since entering the league as a undrafted free agent in 2018, but he hasn't registered a snap since 2019. Hector will be a long shot to make Detroit's final 53-man roster.

Hector linked up with the Titans back in April after having spent the 2020 season in Carolina, though he didn't suit up for any games with the Panthers. During the 2018-19 seasons Hector was a depth contributor for the Eagles.
