Overall this season, Tyms caught just five passes for 82 yards and a TD in 11 games, but depending on how things shake out personnel-wise, the 6-3, 204-pound wideout could see his role in the offense increase next season.

Tyms was on the field for 17-of-74 snaps on offense in Sunday's 51-23 win over the Bears, ESPN.com reports. Brandon LaFell, Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola all saw more snaps than Tyms (who did not record a catch) did on Sunday, so he's clearly a break or two away from fantasy utility at this stage.

Tyms hauled in a 43-yard touchdown in Sunday's 37-22 win over the Bills. While Tyms saw just two targets in his season debut, he made it count. He's a player to track in the coming weeks, though at this stage fellow wideouts Julian Edelman and Brandon LaFell remain more reliable fantasy options.

Tyms -- who is coming off a four-game suspension to start the season -- has been activated by the Patriots, NESN.com reports. As was cornerback Brandon Browner, with the duo thus in line to be available for Week 6's game against the Bills. While it's unclear how big of a role in the Patriots' offense Tyms is in line for, the team's recent release of Kenbrell Thompkins paves the way for him to carve out a depth slot in the team's wideout corps.

Tyms is set to return from his suspension this week, ESPN.com reports. It remains to be seen what Tyms' role with the team will be out of the gate, but his strong preseason suggests that he could garner some opportunities in the coming weeks, with the Patriots still clearly looking for answers in their passing game.
