Free agent Brandon Myers says it's his understanding that the Raiders will let him test the open market. "I'm optimistic that they might give me an offer, but I guess they had a conversation at the Combine and it didn't sound like they were ready to do that," Myers said. "We'll just see where it takes us." Myers, who turns 28 before the season, is coming off career highs in catches (79), yards (806), and touchdowns (4).

"Oakland should bring him back if possible."

Denver has been shredded by opposing tight ends this season, and after posting a 14/130/1 line last week, Myers was a top-five tight end play for Week 14. It didn't amount to anything. Next up are the division rival Chiefs, who Myers caught three passes for 49 yards against in Week 8.

Myers caught 14 of his 15 targets and has shown that he possesses ultimately reliable hands. His score was of the true garbage time variety, but the Raiders are one of the biggest beneficiaries of other teams playing prevent defense late in games this year. After today, Myers is on pace to catch 92 passes for 961 yards and five touchdowns this season. He's a PPR machine and is a regular low-end TE1. We'll see the Raiders host the Broncos on Thursday night.
