Brandon Myers caught two passes for nine yards in Sunday's Week 17 win over the Redskins. Myers was also targeted on both of the Giants' interceptions. He proved to be a severe downgrade on Martellus Bennett this season, posting 47 catches for 522 yards with four touchdowns while playing in all 16 games. Myers will head back to free agency as a 28-year-old plodder with limited upside as a pass-catching tight end. He'd do well to get another one-year, $2.25 million deal like he got from the Giants.

Brandon Myers caught four balls for 53 yards in the Giants' Week 16 win over the Lions. Aside from underneath, checkdown-type completions, Myers' most notable play was missing a chip block to allow Nick Fairley to sack Eli Manning for a safety, narrowing Detroit's deficit to 13-12 late in the third quarter. Myers signed what is essentially a one-year contract in the offseason, in the hopes Giants renowned TE coach Mike Pope could coach him up into a solid starter. It hasn't happened. The G-Men close out the year against Washington in Week 17.

Brandon Myers (groin) is listed as probable for Week 14. He'll be a mid-range TE2 in Sunday's tilt with the Chargers.

Brandon Myers (groin) is expected to practice on Friday after missing Thursday's session. Myers was limited to exercise-bike duties on Thursday, but it sounds like his injury is minor. The mid-range TE2 should be good to go against the Chargers.

Brandon Myers (undisclosed) is not practicing Thursday. Myers was riding the bike while the rest of the team worked out. He didn't appear to get injured during Sunday night's win at Washington, so it could be a rest day for the veteran. We'll know more after practice.

Brandon Myers caught five passes for 61 yards and a touchdown in Sunday night's Week 13 win over the Redskins. Myers scored on a wide open pass over the middle of the field at the end of the first half and finished behind only Victor Cruz with six targets. He's now managed touchdowns in back-to-back games and will be on the TE2 radar for Week 14 against the Chargers.

Brandon Myers caught three balls for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Giants' Week 12 loss to the Cowboys. Myers' touchdown came against a Cowboys defense that obviously lacked awareness as LB Bruce Carter and S Jeff Heath stood idly by while Myers -- who they apparently thought was tackled -- never got touched and danced into the end zone for a 27-yard score. His other two receptions were dump-offs, which is typically how Myers catches passes. He isn't remotely on the TE1 radar.

Brandon Myers caught three passes for 32 yards in Week 11 against Green Bay. A week after seeing zero targets, Myers was the intended receiver on four of Eli Manning's 35 throws. Still, he hasn't done much since the early part of the season and remains a fantasy non-factor as a TE2/3.

Brandon Myers wasn't targeted in New York's Week 10 win over the Raiders. It's the second time in four games Myers was held without a target. What little PPR-league value Myers had has just about vanished.

The Newark Star-Ledger reports TE Brandon Myers is still adjusting to the Giants offense and has "struggled to get on the same page" with Eli Manning. Myers is being asked to do more blocking this season, resulting in just 23 catches for 265 yards and one touchdown through eight games. "We've had to keep the protection in a little more," tight end coach Michael Pope said. "The other thing is our receivers have been where a good part of our passing game starts, the reads begin there." Myers has been a complete non-factor since the first two weeks of the season and is no higher than the No. 4 option in the passing game. He won't be more than a low-end TE2 when the Giants come out of their bye.
