Boykin signed a contract with the Ravens on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Boykin, who most recently played for the Bears, missed the entire 2016 season due to a pectoral injury. Presumably healthy now, the 26-year-old will compete for a reserve spot on the depth chart behind starters Jimmy Smith and Brandon Carr.

Boykin (pectoral) was placed on the Injured Reserve list Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
This news is surprising considering the Bears just signed Boykin last week. They are remarkably the fourth roster he has been on in the last calendar year. His season has now come to an early end. Chicago subsequently signed Joel Ross to take Boykin's place on the roster.

Boykin signed a contract with the Bears on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Boykin has become somewhat of an NFL-journeyman, playing last season with the Steelers before being signed and released by the Panthers earlier in the offseason. It seems highly unlikely that Boykin will uproot current starters Tracy Porter and Kyle Fuller, but he could earn a role as main backup and contribute in specific defensive packages.

Boykins has been cut by the Panthers, the Charlotte Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Boykin joined the Panthers in March following a down year in Pittsburgh that included only 25 tackles and one interception. Although Boykin was initially projected as a someone that could potentially earn Carolina's nickel role, the Panthers drafting James Bradberry, Daryl Worley and Zack Sanchez all through the first five rounds of last month's draft marginalized Boykin. Now, the 25-year-old veteran will hit the open market ahead of OTAs and training camp.

Boykin has signed a one-year deal with the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Boykin joins the Panthers after posting 25 tackles and one interception for the Steelers last year. At 25 years old, Boykin is at his best as an inside cornerback, which figures to allow promising third-year player Bene Benwikere (leg) to move outside for Carolina this season.

Boykin recorded four tackles (all solo) against the Broncos on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Boykin totaled 25 tackles (20 solo), including a sack in 2015. He also had an interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Boykin experienced a significant decrease in playing time after being traded from Philadelphia during training camp, and it showed in his production. An unrestricted free agent, Boykin will need to see more defensive snaps if he is to have any fantasy value, regardless of which team he is with.

Boykin totaled four tackles (all solo) and a fumble recovery in Pittsburgh's win over Cleveland on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Boykin recovered a fumble forced by Anthony Chickillo on a fourth quarter kickoff return, the first fumble recovery of his NFL career, and one of four Cleveland turnovers on the day.

Boykin totaled eight tackles (four solo) including a sack in the Steelers' loss to the Ravens on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
When Pittsburgh traded for Boykin in the off-season, it was expected that he might win a starting defensive back position. Instead, he played less than 16 percent of all defensive snaps, recording just 13 tackles through Week 15. He finally made his presence known against Baltimore, having the best game of his four-year career and his first sack since Week 16 of his rookie season.

Boykin (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Rams. Boykin tested out his hamstring on the field prior to the Sunday afternoon tilt, and was deemed healthy enough to go. He'll provide depth in the secondary for the Eagles.

Boykin (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against St. Louis. Boykin logged 'full' practices Thursday and Friday, but the Eagles' practice designations are sometimes a bit misleading. It's therefore difficult to tell whether Boykin will suit up against the Rams. With two full practices logged, though, he seems to have a decent chance.
