Cooks secured all four targets for 36 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for 14 yards in the Cowboys' 20-17 win over the Chargers on Monday night.
EDGE Analysis
Cooks' modest yardage total was nevertheless a season high, and he propped up it up with a two-yard scoring grab early in the fourth quarter that served as his first touchdown in a Cowboys uniform. The veteran speedster has strictly played a complementary role thus far in Dallas' air attack, and he'll next face his former Rams squad during a Week 8 home matchup on Sunday, Oct. 29 following a Week 7 bye.

Cooks caught one of four targets for seven yards and added six rushing yards on one carry in Sunday's loss to the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran wideout once again had trouble getting on the same page as Dak Prescott, although the entire Dallas offense struggled in San Francisco. Cooks has yet to top 27 receiving yards in any of his first four games as a Cowboy, but a breakout could be coming Week 6 against a Chargers secondary that's given up six touchdowns to WRs through four contests.

Cooks caught all four of his targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 38-3 win over the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
The four grabs were a season high for the veteran wideout, who continues to be a victim of the Cowboys' success on the defensive side of the ball. With Dak Prescott not needing to stretch the field or air it out too much, Cooks hasn't had a big role. That could change Week 5 in what figures to be a much more competitive game against the undefeated 49ers.

Cooks caught two of seven targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 28-16 loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Four different Cowboys tied for the team lead with seven targets, but Cooks was the least productive of the bunch as he struggled to gain separation against a surprisingly stout Arizona secondary. The veteran wideout has had a very quiet start to his Dallas tenure, and it could be a while before Cooks begins to make an impact. The Cowboys host the Patriots in Week 4 before a road game against the 49ers in Week 5.

Cooks (knee) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game at Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Cooks emerged from Week 1 action with an MCL sprain, which kept him off the practice field last week before ultimately being inactive this past Sunday versus the Jets. This week, the 10th-year pro opened it with a limited session Wednesday, but he ended it with back-to-back full practices to clear him for Week 3. Cooks thus will get a chance to make his first big mark as a Cowboy against a Cardinals defense that has allowed the seventh-most YPC (9.5) to opposing wide receivers through two games this season.

Cooks (knee) practiced in full Thursday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Mike McCarthy relayed to Todd Archer of ESPN.com earlier Thursday that Cooks would be "good to go," but such a statement doesn't always equate to all activity during a given practice. Cooks was able to handle every rep Thursday, setting himself up to contain his DNP streak to one game due to a MCL sprain. Friday's injury report will unveil whether or not he goes into the weekend with a designation for Sunday's contest at Arizona.

Cooks (knee) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Leading up to this past Sunday's win over the Jets, Cooks wasn't able to practice, with resistance training acting as his only visible on-field work. He was ultimately inactive for the contest, but with his return to limited activity to kick off Week 3 prep, he's putting himself in a position to keep his absence to just one game. Cooks even told Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News on Wednesday that he's feeling "great" and expects to suit up Sunday in Arizona.

Cooks (knee) is expected to play in Dallas' Week 3 matchup against the Cardinals on Sunday, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cooks is expected to be a limited participant at practice Wednesday before logging a full session Thursday. If that happens, the veteran wideout will be in a good position to suit up after missing Week 2 due to a slight MCL sprain. Cooks was limited in the season opener, catching just two of four targets for 22 yards as the Cowboys routed the Giants.

Cooks (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cooks didn't practice at all during Week 2 prep, instead focusing on resistance training as he tended to a slight MCL sprain. While he entered the weekend as questionable, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported early Sunday morning that Cooks wasn't likely to suit up. With Cooks' status now confirmed, the Cowboys' passing game will focus on WR CeeDee Lamb, RB Tony Pollard and TE Jake Ferguson. Behind Lamb, fellow wide receivers Michael Gallup, Jalen Tolbert and even KaVontae Turpin also should experience upticks in snap count.

Cooks (knee) is not expected to play in Sunday's game against the Jets, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cooks drew a questionable designation after missing three consecutive practices to close out the week. As a result, this news is relatively unsurprising, but he has not officially been ruled out yet. The veteran pass catcher sprained his MCL in the season opener, and the Cowboys appear to be exercising caution in bringing him back. If he is indeed out, Jalen Tolbert is the favorite to step in as the No. 3 receiving option behind Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb. KaVontae Turpin and Jalen Brooks could also see more snaps.
