Fowler caught his only target for 11 yards in Monday's loss to the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler signed with the Giants last week but still played 35 of 64 offensive snaps, good for third on the team with Russell Shepard (neck) inactive. The 27-year-old could see a similar snap-share if Shepard is forced to miss any additional time, but is unlikely to provide consistent production regardless.

Fowler signed with the Giants on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler most recently spent the offseason with Chicago but failed to make the 53-man roster, and then the wideout spent four days with the Patriots before being cut. He'll now have another opportunity to assist an injury-riddled Giants receiving corps, as Cody Latimer (hamstring) was just placed on injured reserve. Should Russell Shepard (neck) remain sidelined for the coming weeks, Fowler could be called upon to immediately serve as the team's No. 3 wide receiver behind Odell Beckham and Sterling Shepard.

Fowler was cut by the Patriots on Saturday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler's tenure with the Patriots comes to an end less than a week after he was signed. He was signed on Tuesday and didn't make it to his first tilt with the team. He'll again be a free agent and look to catch on with another club in 2018.

Fowler agreed to a contract Tuesday with the Patriots, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
After cutting wideouts Riley McCarron and Chad Hansen on Monday, the Patriots didn't take long to address their dwindling depth at the position, as Fowler and 2016 first-round pick Corey Coleman will both be added to the roster Tuesday. Fowler spent the past three seasons with Denver, tallying 46 receptions for 698 yards and five touchdowns over that span. The 27-year-old latched on with the Bears over the offseason, but failed to impress in training camp and the preseason and was included among the team's final cuts. Fowler and Coleman will both get the opportunity to compete for snaps in New England, but the duo will likely enter the Week 2 matchup with the Jaguars firmly behind Chris Hogan, Phillip Dorsett and Cordarrelle Patterson on the depth chart at receiver.

Fowler caught two passes for 11 yards in Thursday's loss to the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
With the Bears starting all reserve players, Fowler found himself rotating in the with starters, and aside from the Chicago wide receivers who played in the second half, he led the team in targets. He'll be fighting for a roster spot during camp since Chicago's first three wide receiver spots are mortal locks while Josh Bellamy is likely set to function as the fourth receiver. That said, he has a solid chance to crack the opening-day roster if he can put together a solid preseason.

The Bears have signed Fowler, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The addition of Fowler bolsters a Chicago receiving corps that recently saw Cameron Meredith head to the Saints as a restricted free agent. The 6-foot-1 212-pound Fowler caught a career-high 29 passes for 350 yards and three TDs for the Broncos last season. He'll now jostle for slotting on the Bears' 2018 wideout depth chart (behind top option Allen Robinson) along with the likes of Taylor Gabriel, Kevin White, Josh Bellamy and Tanner Gentry.

Fowler didn't receive a restricted free agent tender and thus will become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday unless he re-signs with the Broncos before that time, Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Broncs may hope to sign Fowler for less than the minimum RFA tender, but it's also quite possible they're just looking to go in another direction. Regardless of where he ends up, Fowler will have a tough time matching his role from last season, when he set personal bests across the board with 29 catches for 350 yards and three touchdowns on 56 targets. His poor efficiency marks -- 51.7-percent catch rate, 6.3 yards per target -- suggest he was a bit overmatched as a No. 3 receiver.

Fowler ended 2017 with 29 receptions on 56 targets for 350 yards and three touchdowns.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler enjoyed career highs across the board, but it's fair to wonder what could have been with some better play both by Fowler and the quarterbacks he was catching passes from. He opened the season with a two-touchdown game, but proceeded to have a case of the drops push him down the depth chart. He nabbed a grand total of five catches from Weeks 9 through 16 before a four-catch season finale, a product of Cody Latimer and Emmanuel Sanders being held out. Fowler could be retained on the relative cheap as a restricted free agent in 2018, but with a youth movement likely coming in Denver, it's worth wondering whether the team will cut its losses on a player that once appeared to be a pretty solid No. 3 option.

Fowler and Jordan Taylor are in line to see increased playing time Sunday against Washington, with both Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) and Cody Latimer (thigh) downgraded to out this week, the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler, who has caught 25 passes for 294 yards and three TDs in 14 games to date, is an option for those scrambling to replace either Sanders or Latimer, but it has yet to be solidified whether he'll be catching passes from Brock Osweiler or Paxton Lynch (ankle) on Sunday.

Fowler was not targeted during Denver' 25-13 win over Indianapolis.
EDGE Analysis
In the course of a few days, the Broncos managed to string together the team's first two wins since early October, but Fowler did not play a featured role -- or even see a pass thrown his way -- in either contest. The third-year receiver struggled with a case of the drops earlier in the season and has seen his role reduced, nabbing multiple passes just once since Halloween. Denver's formula during its two-game winning streak has been to remain stout on defense and to play keep-away by running the ball. Look for Denver to continue with that plan as the season concludes, much to Fowler's detriment.
