Key recorded four tackles (three solo), including one sack, and forced a fumble in Sunday's loss to Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Key brought down Geno Smith and forced a fumble on Seattle's first offensive series of the contest, though the Seahawks maintained possession. The sack gave Key a total of 3.5 over his past five contests -- prior to that span, he had gone six consecutive games without logging any sacks. The veteran linebacker is just a half-sack away from tying the career-high mark he set two years ago while with San Francisco.

Key recorded two total tackles (both solo), including one tackle for loss and one sack in Monday night's 28-27 win over the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
The sixth-year pro was one of three Titans to get to Tua Tagovailoa on Monday night, as he was sacked a total of five times. Key is on pace to have one of, if not the, best seasons of his career through 13 games, tallying 22 total tackles, including three tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks. Tennessee ranks just outside the top 10 in the NFL in sacks this season (37.0 total), and Key has been a large part of that success.

Key recorded four tackles (one solo) as well as 1.5 sacks and one pass defended in Sunday's 16-15 loss to the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Key has played on several one-year deals throughout his career, but the Titans gave him a more substantial commitment this offseason. He responded well in his debut with the team, showing ability as a pass rusher, run stopper and even in coverage. Key should continue to serve as the Titans' primary right outside linebacker this season, and he has a strong chance to set career-best marks in nearly every statistical category.

Key has agreed to a three-year, $21 million contract with the Titans, Jordan Schultz of TheScore.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Key has spent time with the Raiders, 49ers and most recently the Jaguars during his five-year NFL career. He recorded 24 tackles (13 solo), 4.5 sacks, and two passes defensed across 17 games in Jacksonville during the 2022 season. He is now set to join the rotation on the Titans' defensive line, as well as provide some depth at outside linebacker if needed.

The Jaguars signed Key to a one-year, $7 million contract Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Key managed a career-best 6.5-sack campaign with the 49ers last season, and the Jaguars will now hope he can shore up a position of weakness. To date, Key has looked most comfortable in a rotational defensive role, which keeps him off the fantasy radar in most IDP fantasy formats.

Key (head) has returned to Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Rams, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Key was being evaluated for a head injury late in the first half, but he was able to return to the field to begin the second half. He should continue to play a role behind Arik Armstead as the 49ers attempt to advance to the Super Bowl.

Key is being evaluated for a head injury during Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
Key was removed from Sunday's matchup in the second quarter, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to return. If Key remains sidelined, Charles Omenihu could see his role increase.

Key tallied a sack across his 24 snaps on defense Sunday in the 49ers' 31-13 win over the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Nick Bosa (15 sacks) continues to lead the San Francisco pass rush, but the emergence of Key in recent weeks has resulted in the absence of Dee Ford (back) going largely unnoticed. Despite not playing any more than 50 percent of the 49ers' defensive snaps in any game this season while serving in a rotational role, Key has amassed five sacks, with all coming in the last seven weeks. After failing to meet expectations with the Raiders as a third-round pick in 2018, Key appears to have untapped some of his considerable potential in San Francisco.

The 49ers signed Key to a one-year contract Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Key will likely fill a depth or rotational role along the 49ers' defensive line, while also providing the team with some upside if he can take a step forward in his development after entering the NFL with high expectations as a third-round pick in 2018. He never reached his potential during his three seasons with the Raiders, registering three sacks over 37 career appearances.

The Raiders waived Key on Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Key never managed to emerge as a consistent option since joining the Raiders in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and rather than take another shot in the final year of his rookie deal, the team has decided to simply part ways. Still just looking ahead to his age-25 season, Key should get another chance to continue his development in the NFL, but the odds that he ever puts it together as a real fantasy option in IDP formats are looking increasingly slim.
