Abdullah rushed once for one yard and caught both of his targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 38-30 loss to the Texans. He finished the season with 14 rushes for 60 yards and one touchdown, adding 16 receptions for 99 yards on 17 targets in 13 appearances.
EDGE Analysis
Abdullah finished the 2025 campaign having very little impact offensively, a theme for the veteran running back for most of the season. The 32-year-old operated as one of the Colts' top backup options out of the backfield, but he was unable to get much going each week with starter Jonathan Taylor handling a large majority of the work at running back. Abdullah will enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, but his age and lack of impressive production may make it difficult to garner much interest from teams around the league.

Abdullah caught his lone target for four yards during Sunday's 23-17 loss to the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old from Nebraska has now gone without a carry in each of the Colts' last two games. Through 12 appearances this season, Abdullah has rushed 13 times for 59 yards and a touchdown while catching 14 of 15 targets for 75 yards. Additionally, he's logged 510 kick-return yards while operating as one of Indianapolis' top return men. Expect Abdullah to remain one of the team's primary kick returners in the Week 18 matchup against the Texans.

Abdullah caught his lone target for four yards in Monday's 48-27 loss to the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Abdullah failed to record a single rushing attempt in the contest while playing just four of the Colts' 60 offensive snaps. With Jonathan Taylor handling the vast majority of snaps at running back, Abdullah and teammate Tyler Goodson are left to handle the few remaining opportunities in the Colts' backfield. The veteran cannot be trusted for fantasy purposes in a Week 17 matchup against the Jaguars.

Abdullah rushed four times for 15 yards and caught all five of his targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 18-16 loss to the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Abdullah benefited from having Philip Rivers take over under center for the injured Daniel Jones (Achilles) after the backup running back finished as the Colts' leading receiver Sunday. The 32-year-old Abdullah hadn't recorded more than two receptions in any of his previous nine appearances this season, but the higher target share could become a trend with Rivers needing to make plenty of check-down passes to preserve his own health down the stretch. Abdullah represents a sneaky play in Week 16 for those in deep PPR formats, but the veteran backup can safely be ignored elsewhere.

Abdullah had one carry for four yards and two receptions for five yards on two targets in Sunday's 39-16 loss at Jacksonville.
EDGE Analysis
Abdullah played a season-high 17 snaps on offense as he got playing time late amid a blowout loss. Abdullah looks clearly ahead of Tyler Goodson and DJ Giddens in the backup running back role, though that order may change if starter Jonathan Taylor were to get hurt.

Abdullah did not have a carry and failed to bring in a catch on his only target in Sunday's loss at Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Abdullah played just four snaps on offense as Indy used Jonathan Taylor on 46 of the offense's 51 snaps despite giving him just 16 rushing attempts. Abdullah looks ahead of Tyler Goodson and DJ Giddens in the backup role, though that order may change if Taylor is injured.

Abdullah caught his lone target for eight yards in Sunday's 31-25 win over the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Abdullah failed to record a single carry Sunday, as the veteran running back played just five of the Colts' 77 offensive snaps against the Falcons. The 32-year-old was was not needed much in the game, as starter Jonathan Taylor ran all over the Falcons on his way to 244 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. With Taylor dominating the backfield for the Colts, Abdullah should not be trusted for fantasy purposes. He'll continue to operate as a depth option when Indianapolis comes out of their Week 11 bye to face off against the Chiefs in Week 12.

Abdullah had one carry for three yards and one reception for two yards on his only target in Sunday's loss at Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
Abdullah played five snaps on offense while Tyler Goodson played a season-high 10 snaps with the Colts trailing most of the game (as Goodson is usually seen as the better receiver). However, the Colts didn't turn to a pass-catching running back as they have in the past as Jonathan Taylor stayed in the game and played on 62 of the offense's 79 snaps. As long as Taylor is healthy, it looks the other running backs will have very minor roles even if the Colts are forced throw the ball.

Abdullah had two carries for five yards and one reception for three yards on his lone target in Sunday's 38-14 win over Tennessee.
EDGE Analysis
Tyler Goodson returned after missing three games due to a groin injury but Abdullah saw slightly more work, playing 10 snaps compared to four for Goodson, while DJ Giddens was a healthy inactive. Both active backups had only two carries, however, and none of the Colts' backfield depth options will get enough touches for viable fantasy value as long as Jonathan Taylor dominates the workload even in blowouts, as Sunday's win was essentially wrapped up before the fourth quarter.

Abdullah rushed twice for 19 yards and caught his lone target for eight yards in Sunday's 38-24 win over the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Abdullah played just five of the Colts' 60 offensive snaps Sunday behind starter Jonathan Taylor (52) and ahead of rookie DJ Giddens (3). The veteran running back offers little fantasy value outside of an injury to Taylor, yet it's unclear if Abdullah's role would drastically increase as a 32-year-old in one of the league's most explosive offenses. With that said, Abdullah remains far off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 8 matchup against the Titans.
