Broncos claimed LB Alvin Bowen off waivers from the Jaguars. Bowen, 27, is a weak-side linebacker and special teams type at 6-foot-1 and 222 pounds. He's probably a long shot to crack the Broncos' final roster.

Jaguars waived LB Alvin Bowen. Bowen appeared in two games for the Jaguars last season, making a tackle on special teams. If he doesn't latch on somewhere else, there's a good chance he'll up back in Jacksonville on the practice squad.
