Mattison (ankle) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
While Mattison, who the Raiders deemed limited on their Tuesday through Thursday practice reports, has a chance to face Kansas City, Zamir White (quadriceps) was ruled out by the team. Confirmation of Mattison's Week 13 status will arrive once Las Vegas' inactives are posted ahead of Friday's 3:00 p.m. ET kickoff, but if he's limited or out, Ameer Abdullah would be in line to continue to see added backfield snaps, with Sincere McCormick and Dylan Laube also available to mix in.

Mattison (ankle) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mattison at least is ahead of fellow Raiders running back Zamir White, who hasn't practiced since suffering a quad injury Week 11. Mattison injured his ankle later in the same game and then missed Week 12, allowing Ameer Abdullah to play 88 percent of snaps in a loss to Denver this past Sunday. Mattison could be back in the lead role if he's active for Friday's game against the Chiefs at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Mattison (ankle) was estimated as a limited participant in Tuesday's practice walkthrough, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though the Raiders held a walkthrough Tuesday, that Mattison was deemed limited is an improvement over his trio of DNPs last week. The running back was unable to play against Denver on Sunday, as was No. 2 back Zamir White (quadricep), leaving ball-carrying duties primarily to Ameer Abdullah. White was estimated as not practicing Tuesday, and if neither he nor Mattison can return Friday against Kansas City, Abdullah figures to lead Las Vegas' rushing attack again.

Mattison (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
With Zamir White (quadricep) also inactive, Ameer Abdullah is next up at running back for the Raiders on Sunday, while Dylan Laube and practice-squad elevation Sincere McCormick are also in line to mix in versus Denver. The next chance for Mattison and/or White see game action will arrive this coming Friday at 3:00 p.m. ET, when the Raiders face the Chiefs on the road.

Mattison (ankle) will be listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Meanwhile, Zamir White (quadricep) also will be deemed doubtful for the contest, paving the way for the Raiders to likely be without both backs this weekend. If the duo is inactive versus Denver, Las Vegas would likely start Ameer Abdullah at running back, according to Reed, with Dylan Laube and practice-squad member Sincere McCormick also in the mix, per Vic Tafur of The Athletic.

Mattison (ankle) remained sidelined at practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The same applies to Zamir White (quadricep), with both backs in danger of missing Sunday's game against the Broncos. Friday's final injury report will reveal the game status of the duo, but if neither are available this weekend, Ameer Abdullah and Dylan Laube would be in line for expanded roles in Week 12, with Sincere McCormick and/or Chris Collier representing potential practice squad elevations.

Mattison (ankle) won't practice Wednesday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fellow running back Zamir White (quadricep) was also sidelined Wednesday, after both players were forced out of this past Sunday's loss to the Dolphins. Mattison's status warrants tracking as this Sunday's game against the Broncos approaches, but for the time being, the healthy running backs on the Raiders' active roster are Ameer Abdullah and Dylan Laube. Chris Collier and/or Sincere McCormick could be elevated from the practice squad to provide additional depth out of the backfield if one or both of Mattison and White aren't available Sunday.

Mattison left Sunday's game against the Dolphins with an ankle injury.
EDGE Analysis
Meanwhile, fellow RB Zamir White (quad) was also forced out of the contest, leaving Ameer Abdullah to handle the team's backfield duties. Before his injury, Mattison carried five times for 19 yards and caught all three of his targets for 50 yards.

Mattison rushed nine times for 36 yards in the Raiders' 41-24 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Mattison once again led the Raiders' backfield in carries, outpacing Zamir White, who did score a rushing touchdown, by three attempts overall. Neither back was targeted in the passing game, and the non-fantasy-friendly pecking order is likely to persist through a Week 10 bye and into a Week 11 road matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 17.

Head coach Antonio Pierce said Wednesday that Mattison remains the team's starting running back, but Pierce also wants to get Zamir White more involved, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mattison started the last four games and took at least 57 percent of snaps and at least 17 touches in each contest, averaging 16.5 carries for 44.5 yards (2.7 YPC) and 3.8 catches for 28.8 yards (7.2 YPT) while scoring one touchdown. The volume has made him a reasonable fantasy starter, at least in PPR leagues, but his struggles on the ground seemingly open the door for White to take on a significant role again, possibly as soon as this Sunday at Cincinnati.
