Snyder will sign with the Giants on Wednesday, ESPN reports. Snyder spent last season with the 49ers, for whom he started four of 16 games played. The nine-year veteran's signing could result in left guard Geoff Schwartz (toe) being placed on the Giants' injured reserve/designated to return list, although that roster decision has yet to be made.

Snyder (knee) played 16 snaps in Sunday's preseason loss to the Broncos. Snyder suffered a knee injury in practice last week, but he appears to be over the minor ailment. With a few of the 49ers' starting lineman still missing from action, the team will need the 32-year-old veteran to step up in the interim.

Snyder left Sunday's practice with an apparent knee injury, Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee reports. Snyder was playing left guard before limping off of the field. The 32-year-old veteran was expected to be one of the first offensive lineman off the bench this season. The severity of the knee injury is unknown at this point.

49ers signed OG Adam Snyder to a two-year contract. The 94th pick in the 2005 draft, 31-year-old Snyder returns home after a failed one-year stint in Arizona, where he was exposed as a sub-average starter to be kind. Back in San Francisco, Snyder will be a perfect swing backup with the ability to play three positions on the line -- right tackle and both guard spots.

Cardinals released RG Adam Snyder. Snyder, 31, signed a "five-year, $17.5 million" contract last offseason and predictably bombed; he wasn't any good in San Francisco, either. Best suited as a versatile reserve, Snyder took home a $5 million signing bonus and Arizona now takes a sizable cap hit to release him. The Cardinals will move forward with Jonathan Cooper and Daryn Colledge at guard. Lyle Sendlein is the center.

Mike Jurecki of XTRA Phoenix suspects Cardinals RG Adam Snyder could be "the odd man out" if the team drafts a guard at No. 7 overall. Solidifying the offensive line is key for Arizona following the acquisition of Carson Palmer. The Cardinals would probably prefer Lane Johnson or Eric Fisher with the seventh pick, but Alabama's Chance Warmack would certainly upgrade their front five if all three elite left tackles are gone by No.7. Snyder is owed a $2.9 million base salary. He performed poorly in 2012 as both a run and pass blocker.

Cardinals RG Adam Snyder (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Week 9 versus the Packers. Snyder missed last week's game against the 49ers, too. Rich Ohrnberger started in his place and gave up three quarterback hurries, according to Pro Football Focus. Snyder has been a colossal disappointment this year after signing a five-year contract in the offseason. Arizona has a Week 10 bye, so he could return after then.

Cardinals RG Adam Snyder (quadriceps, questionable) is not expected to play in Week 8. Arizona beat writer Kent Somers says it would be a "surprise" if Snyder played on Monday night against the 49ers. Snyder has graded out as Pro Football Focus' worst guard in the NFL this season, so his loss shouldn't be a huge blow. Rich Ohrnberger or Pat McQuistan would likely step into the starting lineup.

Cardinals signed G/T Adam Snyder to a five-year contract. Snyder's best asset is his versatility. He's played every position on the offensive line in his career and could compete for the starting right guard job in Arizona. Snyder can also be a backup at center and at tackle, where the Cardinals just released Levi Brown.

49ers RG Adam Snyder left Thursday's game in the second quarter with a hamstring injury. Trainers are working on his leg, and Snyder doesn't look happy about it. His replacement, Chilo Rachal, promptly allowed a sack and pushed Frank Gore into a chop-block penalty that negated a 75-yard touchdown to Ted Ginn. Snyder returned to the game with an obvious limp on the next series.
