Giants C Adam Koets will reportedly be released Tuesday. Koets signed a three-year deal just before tearing his ACL last November. He ended up having a second operation in August after complications developed. Koets apparently wasn't ready to resume practicing this week. The Giants opted to let him go rather than carrying him on the PUP list the rest of the way.

Giants C Adam Koets is recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery. We're assuming the knee complications are rooted in last year's torn ACL. Koets, a former offensive tackle, has been converted to center entering his fifth season in the league. He was set to open the year as David Baas' backup.
