Rodgers (right thumb) took part in the open portion of Thursday's practice, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rodgers kicked off Week 10 preparations with no activity as he got treatment on his balky right thumb, which has impacted his practice reps for five weeks running. During the four games playing with the injury, his performance waned a bit, as he completed 61 percent of his passes for 934 yards, six touchdowns and four interceptions during that span. Not all of the inconsistency can be chalked up to Rodgers' health, with the O-line juggling different alignments and the skill positions banged up, particularly at wide receiver. Speaking of, rookie Romeo Doubs is slated to miss 4-to-6 weeks due to a high-ankle sprain, Sammy Watkins (knee) also didn't practice Wednesday, and Allen Lazard (shoulder) was limited during that session, so the receivers available for Rodgers this Sunday against the Cowboys are up in the air.

Rodgers (right thumb) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
For the fifth week in a row, Rodgers is opening game prep with either some or no activity. This time around, it was the latter, but that may be due to most of the Packers' skill-position group and top two offensive linemen having some sort of practice limitations Wednesday, too. Wide receivers Romeo Doubs (ankle) and Sammy Watkins (knee) also were DNPs, position mate Allen Lazard (shoulder) and running back Aaron Jones (ankle) were limited, and Christian Watson (concussion protocol) was a full participant. Rodgers will look to get back in the mix Thursday and/or Friday as the team prepares for Sunday's showdown with the Cowboys.

Rodgers completed 23 of 43 pass attempts for 291 yards, a touchdown and three interceptions in Sunday's 15-9 loss to the Lions. He added 40 rushing yards on four attempts.
EDGE Analysis
Rodgers should be pointing the finger at himself after nearly doubling his interception total for the season in a loss to a divisional opponent. The former MVP set new single-game highs in passing yards (291) and rushing yards (40), so he actually turned in one of the better fantasy performances of a disappointing 2022 campaign. Rodgers' lack of receiving help has been a highlighted issue for Green Bay this season, and he may end up even more short-handed after starting wideout Romeo Doubs (ankle) and star running back Aaron Jones (ankle) both left Sunday's contest without returning. Both players' availabilities should affect Rodgers' projections heading into an already difficult matchup against Micah Parsons and the Cowboys defense next Sunday.

Rodgers (thumb) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Detroit, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
He'll continue playing through the same injury that's limited his practice participation for a few weeks now. The bigger question for Rodgers is whether wide receivers Allen Lazard (shoulder) and Christian Watson (concussion) will play, as both are listed as questionable, and the Packers don't exactly have talent to spare at the position. Rodgers does get an A+ matchup, at least, playing in a dome against a Lions defense ranked dead last in both points and yards allowed.

Rodgers (right thumb) practiced on a limited basis Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rodgers maintained his activity level from Wednesday, giving him just one more chance to ditch his designation before the end of the week. He's been able to do so each of the previous three, though, meaning he's in line to keep up the streak and gain clearance prior to Sunday's contest at Detroit.

Rodgers (thumb) was limited at Wednesday's practice, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
As has been the case for each of the previous three weeks of practice, Rodgers will kick off a fourth with a cap on his reps. He's been able to ditch a designation before week's end on each occasion, so he'll likely do so again this week and be cleared for Sunday's game in Detroit.

Rodgers (thumb) completed 19 of 30 pass attempts for 203 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Rodgers entered this tough matchup without several key receivers, and he lost de facto No. 3 wideout Christian Watson (concussion) in the first quarter. Excuses aside, it was another subpar fantasy day from the decorated quarterback. Rodgers has yet to eclipse 300 yards in a single game this season, and he no longer provides value as a runner at his advanced age (20 total rushing yards in 2022). The 38-year-old's arm still appears to have plenty of life left in it, but the current state of Green Bay's receiving corps limits his fantasy upside. That said, Rodgers could be in line for his best fantasy performance in Week 9 when he faces a Lions team that seems to get involved in high-scoring shootouts on a weekly basis.

Rodgers (thumb) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
The Packers have limited Rodgers' practice reps the past two weeks while he's dealt with an injury to the thumb on his throwing hand, but there was never any doubt he'd play in Sunday's game. Top wideout Allen Lazard, on the other hand, has been ruled out with a shoulder injury, leaving Rodgers with Romeo Doubs and Sammy Watkins as his likely top receivers against one of the best defenses in the leagues.

Rodgers (thumb) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to this week, Rodgers kicked off prep for the Packers' previous two games with no activity before returning to a full session one day later. This time around, he followed up Wednesday's DNP with a cap on his reps Thursday. Rodgers again was spotted throwing with a tape job around his right thumb, but he doesn't appear to be in danger of missing Sunday's contest at Buffalo, despite the change in practice regimen. Friday's injury report likely will reveal that he won't have a game-day designation heading into the weekend.

Rodgers (thumb) returned to practice Thursday, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
As he's done each of the last three weeks, Rodgers followed up a DNP at the first practice with an appearance one day later. He again had a tape job on his balky right thumb as he threw passes during individual drills. Rodgers' activity level will be confirmed later Thursday on the second injury report of Week 8 prep.
