In addition to the Bears, the 49ers, Broncos, Colts, and Jets have reportedly expressed interest in OLB Aaron Maybin. Maybin cleared waivers Tuesday afternoon, so he's free to sign anywhere. Like Chicago, the Colts have been collecting former first-round busts this offseason as Chris Polian takes over day-to-day operations from his father, Bill. The Broncos and Niners can afford to kick Maybin's tires as they begin rebuilding phases. Maybin is expected to decide on a team Tuesday night.

The Bears have had discussions about pursuing OLB Aaron Maybin, who was waived by the Bills on Monday, sources tell the Chicago Tribune. The Bears are hot on the trail of busted former high draft picks this offseason. After adding Vernon Gholston and Amobi Okoye already, Maybin would be their toughest reclamation project yet.
