Jones announced via his personal Twitter account Sunday that he has re-signed with the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
The 2021 free agency class has lost its prospective top running back, as Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Jones and the Packers have come to terms on a four-year deal worth up to $48 million, with a $13 million signing bonus. The 26-year-old is coming off back-to-back seasons with over 1,000 rushing yards, and he's been above 5.0 yards per carry in three of his four years in Green Bay. By virtue of sticking in a proven landing spot, alongside an elite quarterback and behind a top notch offensive line, Jones no doubt will reprise his standing as one of the top running backs off the board in fantasy drafts next season. All that remains to be seen is whether AJ Dillon carves out a larger complementary role, which likely will happen if Jamaal Williams ends up leaving in free agency.

The Packers will not use their franchise tag on Jones, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
As a result, the running back is eligible to become a free agent, though Schefter notes that the Packers are attempting to re-sign Jones before he hits the open market. If the two sides don't come to an agreement, however, the 26-year-old would profile as the top free agent at his position in the class of 2021.

Jones (chest), who was unable to return to Sunday's 31-26 loss to the Buccaneers in the NFC Championship Game, is uncertain to return for the Packers in 2021, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones didn't retake the field after suffering a hard hit from Buccaneers safety Jordan Whitehead (shoulder), a play that resulted in a crucial fumble on the opening drive of the third quarter. He finished Sunday's loss with just six carries for 27 yards and four catches for seven yards. Now having reached the end of his rookie contract, Jones is on track to hit the free-agent market this offseason unless he comes to terms on a new deal with the Packers. Demovsky reports that Green Bay offered Jones, who is coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons, a deal that would make him one of "the top-five highest paid running backs in terms of average per year," but includes minimal guaranteed money. With Jamaal Williams also having reached the end of his rookie deal, the stage could be set for 2020 second-round pick AJ Dillon to take over as the top dog in Green Bay's backfield next season.

Jones was forced out of Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Buccaneers due to a chest injury.
EDGE Analysis
As long as Jones is sidelined, Jamaal Williams and AJ Dillon are next up for Green Bay's carries versus Tampa Bay.

Jones rushed the ball 14 times for 99 yards and a touchdown in the Packers' divisional-round win over the Rams. He added one reception for 14 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Jones began the second-half with a 60-yard run and ultimately capped the same drive with a one-yard touchdown plunge. He was held under wraps for the most part otherwise, with his only other significant rushes going for 11 and eight yards. Even so, he topped 100 total yards third time in his last four games -- spanning back to the regular season. He'll draw a tough matchup in the NFC Championship Game, when the Packers will take on either the Buccaneers or Saints.

Jones rushed 11 times for 42 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 35-16 win over the Bears. He also caught four of five targets for 43 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Jones' production was evenly split between the ground and the air as he again displayed his versatility while topping 80 scrimmage yards. The tailback's 11th touchdown of the campaign, however, came on the ground when Jones rushed in from four yards to give the Packers a commanding lead late in the fourth quarter. By helping Green Bay secure the top seed in the NFC, Jones will now get a week off before taking the field in the divisional round of the playoffs.

Jones rushed 10 times for 94 yards and caught two passes for 14 more yards in Sunday's 40-14 win over Tennessee.
EDGE Analysis
Jones had an incredibly efficient game, averaging a whopping 9.4 yards per carry, which is shockingly the second time he has averaged over nine yards per tote this season (9.3 YPC in Week 2). While that kind of effectiveness should warrant celebration from his fantasy managers, it actually left them wanting more after seeing backup AJ Dillon go off for 124 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries. While the lopsided score explains why the backup received twice as many carries as Jones, it is worth noting that one of Dillon's scores came on the Packers' second drive of the contest. Head coach Matt LaFleur stuck with his usual backfield timeshare even with Jamaal Williams (quad) sitting this one out, and then Dillon took on a larger workload in the second half once the game was put well out of reach. The light workload should have Jones well-rested for an important seeding matchup against the Bears on Sunday.

Jones (toe) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Tennessee, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jamaal Williams, on the other hand, is listed as doubtful, still bothered by the quadriceps injury that knocked him out of last week's win over Carolina. Jones ended up playing 90 percent of offensive snaps in that game, piling up 158 total yards and a TD on 23 touches. He should be in for another large workload this week, though it's possible the Packers give rookie AJ Dillon a bit more work.

Jones (toe) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones' reps were capped for the second day in a row after he picked up a toe injury in the Packers' Week 15 win over the Panthers. Fortunately for Jones and his fantasy managers, the running back relayed earlier Thursday that despite his limitations, he's "feeling good" and "ready to go" for Sunday's showdown with the Titans, according to Olivia Reiner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. If Jones can increase his activity in Friday's practice, he should approach the team's Week 16 contest without a designation.

Jones (toe) participated in Thursday's practice, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones was a surprise addition to Wednesday's injury report as limited due to a toe issue. It remains to be seen whether he increased his reps or merely maintained them Thursday, but Jones still is doing more than Jamaal Williams, who hasn't practiced this week with a quad concern.
