Dobson was a healthy scratch Sunday against the Dolphins, the Boston Herald reports. Kenbrell Thompkins and Brandon LaFell both suited up in Week 1, leaving Dobson as the odd man out, but it seems only a matter of time before he re-enters the mix. "I'm good," said Dobson, who indicated that his surgically-repaired foot is currently not an impediment to his availability. It remains to be seen whether Dobson suits up Sunday against the Vikings, but following the team's Week 1 defeat, it wouldn't surprise us, or the Herald, to see the second-year wideout get a chance to contribute this weekend.

Dobson is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. It remains to be seen if Dobson suffered a setback with his foot injury, but he was not listed on the Patriots' Week 1 injury report, so his deactivation comes as a surprise. Kenbrell Thompkins and Brandon LaFell could see added Week 1 looks, as a result.

Dobson (foot) caught three passes for 57 yards, including a 33-yard TD, in Thursday's preseason finale against the Giants. More importantly, the Boston Globe suggests that Dobson did not appear to have any issues pushing off his previously balky left foot. Assuming he can stay healthy, the second-year wideout brings fantasy upside to the table, given his potential to emerge as a key downfield threat in the Patriots' offense.

Dobson (foot) is expected to make his preseason debut Thursday against the Giants, the Boston Herald reports. Since undergoing surgery in March to repair a stress fracture in his left foot, Dobson has been limited during camp. He did not begin practicing until August 11 but has ramped up his activity of late and is on track to see some playing time Thursday. Dobson will compete with Kenbrell Thompkins and Brandon LaFell for playing time at the outside receiver position this season.

Dobson (foot) did not suit up for Friday's preseason game against the Panthers, the Boston Globe reports. Dobson was able to take some some limited reps in 11-on-11 work this past week, a sign of progress, but it remains to be seen when he will be fully turned loose by the Patriots. When Dobson is finally up to speed, he has a chance to emerge as a key outside/downfield threat (working in tandem with fellow wideouts Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman) in the team's offense this season.

Dobson (foot) is not expected to play Friday against the Panthers, ESPN.com reports. While the report notes that Dobson has started taking limited reps in 11-on-11 drills, we suspect that the Patriots are not inclined to rush the wideout back, with an eye toward avoiding any setbacks with his surgically-repaired foot in advance of Week 1.

Dobson (foot) will not take part in the second preseason game for the Patriots, The Boston Globe reports. Dobson wasn't expected to take part in the game, as he is easing his way back from offseason foot surgery, and he won't play Friday as a result. His ultimate goal is returning in time for the regular season, but it's possible he could see a little action in preseason if he's healthy enough.

Dobson (foot) participated in Monday's practice on a limited basis, the Boston Globe reports. The report notes that Dobson - who had been on the Patriots' PUP list -- was able to participate in individual drills before moving to a side field to work with strength and conditioning coach Harold Nash. Look for Dobson to be eased back into practice activity in the coming days, but his return to the field at this stage puts him in a position to be ready for the start of the regular season, barring any setbacks. That said, it's unclear how much, if any, preseason game action he is likely to see.

Dobson (foot) was in uniform in advance of Monday's practice, ESPN.com reports. Dobson, who is bouncing back from March surgery on a stress fracture in his left foot, has been on the team's PUP list, but it looks like he is poised to resume practicing, with coach Bill Belichick noting Monday that the wideout is "making good progress." Assuming no setbacks, the 6-3 Dobson, who caught 37 passes for 519 yards with four touchdowns in 12 games last season, has a chance to emerge as a key outside/downfield threat in the Patriots' offense this season, while working in tandem with fellow wideouts Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman.
