Browns signed CB Aaron Berry.
Berry, 25, missed all of last season due to a torn ACL and has appeared in just 19 games across four NFL seasons due to suspension and injuries. He's a flier addition for Mike Pettine, who coached Berry while with the Jets in 2012. Berry doesn't lack for talent, but it'll be tough to crack the Browns' rapidly improving corner unit that includes Joe Haden, Justin Gilbert, Buster Skrine, Pierre Desir and Leon McFadden.

Free agent CB Aaron Berry worked out for the Browns this week.
Berry visited Cleveland back in March. It's been his only known interest of the offseason. Berry missed all of last season with a torn ACL. With Joe Haden, Justin Gilbert, Buster Skrine, and Pierre Desir locked in to spots, Berry would compete for a special teams role. He knows coach Mike Pettine from their Jets days.

Free agent CB Aaron Berry visited the Browns on Monday.
Berry, 25, missed all of last season with a torn ACL. He knows Browns coach Mike Pettine from their time with the Jets in 2012. Berry doesn't lack talent, but his career has been marred by injuries and off-field issues to this point. He wouldn't require more than a one-year deal for the veteran's minimum.

Free agent CB Aaron Berry is drawing interest from teams.
Berry, 25, missed the entire 2013 season with a torn ACL and has appeared in just 19 games over the last four seasons due to injuries. A once-promising UDFA, Berry has flashed starting-caliber tools and can contribute on special teams. Berry should only require a one-year deal and is a low-risk, high-upside signing for a team that's willing to take a chance on his health.

Jets placed CB Aaron Berry (torn ACL) on season-ending injured reserve.
Berry tore his ACL on Friday, and it's the third time in four years that his season has involved a trip to injured reserve. He's been involved in a myriad of off-field issues in his short career, and he'll be a free agent next March.

Jets CB Aaron Berry will miss the 2013 season with a torn ACL.
Berry suffered the injury early in training camp. Because he did practice, he's not eligible for the PUP list and will be either waived/injured or placed on I.R. Berry was a once-promising UDFA out of Pitt who flashed starting-caliber tools with Detroit. In New York, he was trying to revive his NFL career.

Jets placed CB Aaron Berry (hamstring) on season-ending injured reserve.
Berry appeared in seven games for the Jets after being signed on the first day of October. He recorded just two tackles while playing mostly on special teams for New York. Berry is under contract for a reasonable $650,000 in 2013.

Jets CB Aaron Berry (hamstring) will be out 2-3 weeks.
Berry pulled his hamstring during last week's win over the Jaguars. He's now a candidate for injured reserve, leaving Ellis Lankster and Josh Bush as backups to starting corners Antonio Cromartie and Kyle Wilson.

Jets signed CB Aaron Berry to a two-year contract.
Berry's suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy ended a week ago. The former Lion will give the Jets some much-needed depth in the secondary after converted RB Joe McKnight actually took snaps at corner against the Niners on Sunday.

Free agent CB Aaron Berry visited the Jets on Friday.
It's Berry's first visit since the Lions cut him loose in July following his second arrest in one month. Berry's three-game suspension is over, so he could theoretically play for the Jets as early as Sunday. Berry isn't exactly a lock-down corner, has had shoulder issues and is obviously a head-case. He'd still be a far better depth option for the Darrelle Revis-less Jets than converted RB Joe McKnight, however.
