Jefferson suffered an ankle injury during Thursday's preseason matchup against the Broncos, The Seattle Times reports. Jefferson will likely be assessed further before a decision is made on whether or not he'll have to take some time off of practice. He's currently on the outside looking in for a starting spot on the Seahawks' defense.

"We like what A.J. is doing," Williams said. "It's a good fit for us. ... We like that rotation, we like the way we're bringing Josh along in terms of the defense."
