Riley totaled 12 points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT) and one rebound across 23 minutes during Sunday's 108-89 victory over Indiana.
EDGE Analysis
The Wizards are missing several key players, which allowed Riley to operate as the sixth man Sunday. He's averaged 10.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 23.5 minutes per game over his last five contests, so the rise in playing time hasn't translated into a significant bump in fantasy value.

Riley (lower body) is available to play Monday against the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
Riley was initially deemed questionable for Monday's contest against Milwaukee, so being cleared for the game hours before tipoff is a great sign for both him and the Wizards. However, even though Riley is available, it is not a guarantee that he will appear on the court, as he is buried on the depth chart.

Riley is questionable for Monday's game against the Bucks due to a sacral contusion.
EDGE Analysis
Riley was recalled from the team's G League affiliate Sunday, but he now finds himself on the injury report with a sacral contusion. His availability doesn't figure to have fantasy implications in most league formats.

Riley logged four points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and four rebounds over 10 minutes during Friday's 119-86 loss to the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
Riley saw a handful of extra minutes as the Wizards fell to another embarrassing loss, this time at the hands of the Pacers. Washington has won just two of its first 18 games, many of those blowouts. Riley has yet to carve out a consistent role, although that could come at some point, given the current trajectory in Washington.

The Wizards recalled Riley from the G League's Capital City Go-Go on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Riley will link back up with the Wizards before they begin a three-game road trip Wednesday in Minnesota, but the rookie first-round pick doesn't look as though he'll be in line for a spot in the rotation anytime soon while Washington is at full strength. The 19-year-old got the chance to see extended playing time in the G League over the weekend and averaged 21.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 three-pointers and 0.5 steals in 28.8 minutes per game over contests Friday and Sunday versus the College Park Skyhawks.

Riley ended with zero points (0-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 10 minutes during Monday's 119-102 loss to New York.
EDGE Analysis
Riley played 10 minutes for the first time this season, as he is buried in the depth chart behind the likes of Corey Kispert, Cam Whitmore, Khris Middleton and Bilal Coulibaly. However, Middleton (elbow) being ruled out Monday paved the way for Riley to see extended run. It appears that the only way for him to play meaningful minutes is in the event of injury.

Riley (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game against the Bucks
EDGE Analysis
Riley was listed as questionable on the official injury report, but coach Brian Keefe said at shootaround that he expected him to get the green light to suit up. Shortly after Keefe's comments, the Wizards upgraded the rookie to available. It will be interesting to see if he can crack the rotation early on.

Riley (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's season opener against the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
An ankle sprain leaves Riley's status in limbo for Wednesday. However, his presence or absence should not have a noticeable impact on the Washington rotation either way.

Riley produced 17 points (7-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one turnover in 26 minutes of Monday's 120-103 preseason win over the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
The Wizards rested several key rotation players Monday, allowing Riley to see an expanded role off the bench. The Illinois product played in only two games during the Summer League due to a thumb issue, but he's been a full go since the start of training camp. The No. 21 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Riley will be pushing to crack the rotation early on with Bilal Coulibaly (thumb) sidelined.

Wizards general manager Will Dawkins said Wednesday that Riley (thumb) will be ready for training camp, Chase Hughes of Monumental Sports Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Illinois product played in only two games during the Summer League due to his thumb issue, averaging 10.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 58.3 percent from the field. The No. 21 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Riley will have a chance to crack the rotation right away with Bilal Coulibaly (thumb) on the shelf to open the season.
