Cherry has signed a deal with EuroLeague team Olympiacos, Eurohoops.net reports.

Cherry, who last played in the NBA during the 2014 season with Cleveland, will head to Greece for the remainder of the EuroLeague season. He most recently played for the Warriors G-League affiliate, averaging 9.1 points, 4.3 assists and 3.7 rebounds in 28.0 minutes over 46 games.

Cherry scored 21 points (9-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT) to go along with seven assists, four rebounds and four steals in the win Wednesday over the Hustle.

Cherry got the start at point guard and proceeded to tally a team-high 32 minutes. The veteran hasn't been much of a threat this campaign, averaging 8.8 points, 4.6 assists and 4.2 rebounds through 29 games with the club, so this outing was definitely a bit of a welcomed surprise.

Cherry was waived by the Warriors on Thursday.

Cherry was only on the roster for a handful of days, as the Warriors were simply looking to acquire his G-League rights. Look for Cherry to open the 2018-19 campaign with the Warriors' G-League affiliate and he could earn a call-up later in the season if injuries decimate the roster.

Cherry last played in the NBA during the 2014-15 campaign, where he registered 69.4 total minutes with the Cavaliers. Since then, he's been overseas. Most recently, Cherry played for Croatian squad Cedevita, where he saw 24.0 minutes per game and averaged 11.0 points, 3.5 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.7 steals.

Cherry was waived by the Cavs on Sunday, Chris Haynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Cherry entered the season as the third point guard but has seen increased minutes of late given the injury to Matthew Dellavedova (knee).The Montana product had seen double-digit minutes in each of the last three games but failed to make a tangible impact. As a result, the Cavs will part ways with Cherry and bring in A.J. Price, who was claimed off waivers Sunday.

Cherry played a season-high 20 minutes and had five points (2-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, and four assists in the win over Orlando on Monday. Cherry, an undrafted rookie out of Montana, has not played in a game that was close. The Cavaliers had an 18-point lead, so the 6-0 point guard received some extra playing time. Major injuries would have to occur for Cherry to be fantasy relevant.

Cherry has only appeared in one game this season for the Cavaliers. Cherry was picked up at the beginning of the season but doesn't have much of a chance at getting on the court this season behind Kyrie Irving, Matthew Dellavedova, and Dion Waiters. He'll continue to provide emergency depth off the bench unless the unforeseeable happens.

Cherry was signed by the Cavaliers on Saturday, Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports. The Cavaliers had to waive A.J. Price in order to make room for Cherry on Saturday. As a result of the depth on Cleveland's roster, it's unlikely that Cherry will see much time on the court this season.

Cherry was waived by the Raptors on Saturday. He was unlikely to make the team out of camp, so this news is not very fantasy relevant.

Cherry will be in a training camp battle with Jordan Hamilton and Greg Stiemsma for the final spot on the Raptors' roster, the Toronto Star reports. The Raptors have three experienced point guards already in Kyle Lowry, Greivis Vasquez and Louis Williams, so Cherry will probably have to significantly outperform his competition to stick with Toronto.
