Will Barton returned to action on Wednesday December 19.

Will Barton (toe) did not practice on Saturday. He had in ingrown toenail removed on Friday and he needed Saturday to recover. This injury isn't likely to impact his insignificant fantasy value.

The Blazers recalled Will Barton and Victor Claver from the D-League. Barton was sent down on December 7 and with the NBA not limiting the number of times teams can call up and send down players, this type of move has been very popular.

Rookie SG Will Barton scored a career-high 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting (including a three) to go with one rebound and two steals in 21 minutes off the bench on Monday. Barton is a rookie we've had our eye on because the Blazers are very thin and he has great athleticism to go with some scoring punch. Like most rookies, he has struggled to get minutes but the Blazers could use somebody to step up. Owners should approach the situation with extreme caution, however, as this is a one-game spurt for a guy that has been mostly non-existent.
