Barton posted two points (1-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four assists and one rebound in 29 minutes Thursday in the Nuggets' 112-85 loss to the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
Barton had hit double figures in the scoring column in each of the previous seven games but saw that streak come to an end in emphatic fashion. Even though it's safe to view the two-point performance as an outlier, Barton wasn't exactly supplementing his scoring during that seven-game stretch with ample production in other areas. He's averaging 5.2 boards, 2.4 assists and 1.9 triples and is shooting 39.2 percent from the field in March, so Barton doesn't need to be treated as a must-hold player at this point in the season.

Barton scored 20 points (9-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt) while adding four rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes during Monday's 114-105 win over the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
It's only the second time in eight March contests the 28-year-old wing has scored at least 20 points. Barton's production has been inconsistent since he returned from a groin injury in mid-January, but he remains a key secondary cog in the Nuggets' offense as the club tries to topple the Warriors at the top of the Western Conference standings.

Barton compiled 17 points (5-10 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 35 minutes during Saturday's 102-100 victory over the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
Barton was solid enough for the Nuggets on Saturday, eclipsing 15 points for just the second time in his last seven games. Since returning from injury, Barton has flashed his upside but is yet to find consistency on either end of the floor. He is still worth rostering in standard formats but is unlikely to reach the expectation many owners had coming into the season.

Barton posted 23 points (8-16 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five assists, four rebounds and one block across 33 minutes in the Nuggets' 115-99 win over the Lakers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Barton has mostly endured a rough season shooting-wise, so seeing him generated back-to-back 50.0 percent tallies is certainly encouraging. The seven-year veteran's scoring total Wednesday equaled a season best as well, while five made threes represented a new high-water mark for the campaign. Barton will look to keep his hot hand going versus the Warriors on Friday.

Barton had 21 points (7-16 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and one steal in 37 minutes during Thursday's 111-106 loss to the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
Barton had his best game of the season Thursday, leading the team in points, rebounds, and blocks. That makes two strong performances in a row for Barton who appears to be finding form after a rocky period returning from injury. He has a demonstrated ability to produce across the board making him a solid fantasy option in most formats.

Barton totaled 23 points (9-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five assists, and three rebounds in 33 minutes during Tuesday's 121-112 victory over the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
Barton bounced back after scoring just three points against the Clippers on Sunday, ending with 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting. Barton has been a bit of a letdown since returning from injury, although, the fact he was being drafted so high was somewhat unwarranted. He has the ability to contribute in multiple categories but offers little defense and struggles with his shooting quite regularly.

Barton tallied 20 points (7-17 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, and one assist in 31 minutes during Saturday's 107-106 victory over Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Barton scored in double-digits for the first time in three games, ending with 20 points on 7-of-17 shooting. Barton still appears to be getting his feet back under him after missing a significant portion of the season due to injury. His numbers are up and down across the board but owners simply have to sit tight and hope he can find some consistency moving forward.

Barton contributed 20 points (9-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 36 minutes during Monday's 95-92 win over the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Barton has scored at least 20 points in two of the last four games and reached double figures in four straight. In both of the contests in which Barton has earned at least 30 minutes this month he has poured in 20-plus points. Given how consistently Nikola Jokic spreads the ball around, Barton is likely to continue hoisting double-digit shot attempts and should be scooped up immediately across most formats if he's somehow still sitting on waiver wires.

Barton started at small forward and registered 14 points (5-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one block in 26 minutes Friday in the Nuggets' 132-95 decimation of the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
With Nikola Jokic suspended for the contest, coach Michael Malone moved Barton back to the starting five to give the Nuggets some more offensive firepower in the star center's stead. Barton fit in seamlessly while making his first start since Oct. 20 and made a case to remain there over the more defensive-minded Torrey Craig on Saturday against the 76ers, when Jokic is set to return to action. Even if Barton moves back to the bench, he won't necessarily be headed for a drastic minutes decline and would continue to prop up his fantasy value by playing a high-usage role for the second unit.

Barton will return to the starting lineup in place of Torrey Craig in Friday's game against the Suns, T.J. McBride of MileHighSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
On Wednesday, Barton exploded for 22 points (8-13 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block across 30 minutes in his fifth game back after a multi-month long absence, which may have triggered his return to the starting lineup. It remains to be seen if he will see that many minutes again, as coach Mike Malone did mention he though he played him too many minutes in the contest. Still, he appears to be working his way back into his expected workload.
