Damian Lillard was 6-of-6 from downtown and finished with 24 points, seven assists and six turnovers in the win, while Nicolas Batum was quiet with eight points, seven rebounds, seven assists, a block and two 3-pointers, but attempted just six shots on the night.

Wesley Matthews handed out a season-high seven assists against the Thunder on Tuesday with 16 points, seven boards, one steal and two 3-pointers on 5-of-16 shooting. It was just his second game this season shooting below 33.3 percent from the field, but he still did enough in other areas to make this a worthwhile game for his fantasy owners. His Blazers turned the ball over just six times tonight and are now 2-0 against the Thunder this year.

The Blazers had one of their patented strong finishes and a couple and-one shots down the stretch put the game out of reach. They have been unbeatable in the fourth quarter and in the last five minutes of games that are within five points, the Blazers lead the NBA in field goal percentage, 3-point percentage and 3-pointers per game. Matthews is enjoying his best season and is a big reason why the Blazers are leading the Western Conference. His owners shouldn't be worried about the eventual return of rookie C.J. McCollum.

Wesley Matthews did not hit a 3-pointer in Saturday's 108-106 loss to the Mavericks on Saturday with four points, seven boards, four assists and one steal in 35 minutes. It was the first time he's failed to make a 3-pointer and it snapped a streak of 31 games continuing back to last season. Matthews and the Blazers have been outstanding at knocking down 3-pointers all year and entered tonight tied with the Warriors in 3-point percentage. He will probably bounce back and hit three more treys against the Jazz on Monday.

Wesley Matthews didn't seem to be bothered by a hip issue on Monday, playing 36 minutes for 15 points, one rebound, three assists, two steals and one 3-pointer. This snapped his streak of 10 consecutive games of multiple 3-pointers, but his one make was huge to give the Blazers an eight-point lead with seven minutes left in the fourth -- their biggest lead of the game. Matthews has bee outstanding all year and there's no reason to worry about rookie C.J. McCollum as long as he's playing like this.

Wesley Matthews' left hip has been bothering him lately, even though he started Sunday's game and finished with 17 points, three 3-pointers, three assists and three steals in 36 minutes. Matthews' injury needs to be on all fantasy radars since it's the same hip that caused him to finally get a DNP last season after playing in 250 straight games. It hasn't affected his absurdly effective shooting percentages or caused him to consider sitting out any games, that we know of, so keep him active while checking for updates.

Wesley Matthews suffered a left hip injury in Sunday's win over the Lakers. He downplayed the injury and said he should be fine for Monday's game against the Pacers. Matthews finished with 17 points, three assists, three steals and three 3-pointers in the win at Staples. He hit a clutch three down the stretch and Portland has been terrific at closing out games all year. In fact, they lead the NBA in field goal percentage and 3-point percentage in the last five minutes of games that are within five points. Matthews is having a terrific season.

Wesley Matthews received his second technical foul after a scuffle against the Warriors on Saturday, scoring 23 point on 8-of-9 shooting with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and five 3-pointers in 26 minutes. He got a little too involved in what turned out to be more of a shoving match, but this ejection really hurt the Blazers with Matthews as the hottest player on the court. He was ejected for the second technical, so while he could get a fine, he is very unlikely to be suspended. His owners should keep red-hot Wes in all lineups.
