Edgecombe closed the championship game with a pair of free throws to seal the victory and led his squad with six points. The rookie first-rounder also paced Team Vince in its 41-36 win over Team T-Mac in the semifinals, hitting the game-winning jumper and posting 17 points (6-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist over 13 minutes.

Edgecombe ended with 14 points (6-16 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one block in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 138-89 loss to the Knicks.

While Edgecombe has remained relatively productive, his efficiency has taken a dip as of late. Over his last 12 outings, the rookie first-rounder is shooting just 39.8 percent from the floor and 27.4 percent from downtown while averaging 11.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.4 steals in 34.1 minutes per game. Edgecombe will be looking to regain his shooting touch after the All-Star break.

Edgecombe posted five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes during Saturday's 109-103 victory over Phoenix.

Although Edgecombe played a critical role in Thursday's loss to the Lakers, the rookie was unable to produce the shot volume necessary for an acceptable total Saturday evening. Disappointing results are not uncommon for Edgecombe, who can suffer from dreadful shooting performances despite his immense promise. Although he's come through with scintillating results on occasion, the Baylor product is averaging 15.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game due to tepid appearances that drive down these numbers.

Edgecombe ended with 19 points (7-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and four steals across 39 minutes during Thursday's 119-115 loss to the Lakers.

EDGE Analysis

It was the third career double-double for the rookie, and his first since Nov. 20. Edgecombe is dealing with some predictable inconsistency for a 20-year-old getting his first look at the NBA, but the third overall pick in the 2025 Draft has drained at least one three-pointer in 10 straight games, averaging 13.8 points, 5.9 boards, 4.1 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.7 threes over that span.

Edgecombe recorded 25 points (11-20 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 40 minutes during Tuesday's 113-94 win over Golden State.

While Tyrese Maxey had trouble finding the bottom of the basket during Tuesday's victory, Edgecombe thrived against the Warriors. It was a nice bounce-back outing for the rookie, who scored only five points during a dreadful shooting performance during Monday's win over the Clippers.

It was a miserable shooting night for Edgecombe, who's experiencing a cold snap of late. The 2025 first-rounder is shooting just 37.5 percent from the floor over his last seven games, during which Edgecombe has averaged 9.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.6 steals in 34.1 minutes per game.

Edgecombe finished Monday's 130-93 loss to the Hornets with nine points (2-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one steal across 26 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Edgecombe had a miserable showing for the 76ers, but you could say the same about most of his teammates, with the franchise getting routed by 37 points while Paul George and Joel Embiid rested during the first half of a back-to-back set. Edgecombe is in the midst of a slump, as he's shooting 41.9 percent from the field over his last seven games with 12.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.1 three-pointers.

Edgecombe recorded 25 points (10-21 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block over 37 minutes during the 76ers' 116-110 loss to the Suns on Tuesday.

Edgecombe stepped into a larger role offensively due to the absences of Joel Embiid (ankle) and Paul George (knee). Tyrese Maxey struggled from the field (7-25 FG), but Edgecombe's efforts helped the Sixers keep pace on the second night of a back-to-back. It was Edgecombe's 11th 20-plus-point performance of the season and his most points in a game since Jan. 3 against the Knicks (26 points). The rookie first-rounder has earned a prominent role for himself with the 76ers, and he'll have opportunities for big nights in games where one or both of Embiid and George do not play.

It wasn't Edgecombe's finest performance, but he's still building up quite the impressive resume in his rookie season as a whole. The No. 3 overall pick has averaged 14.7 points, 5.1 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 2.3 three-pointers in 37.2 minutes per contest in 10 games this month.

Edgecombe carried a probable tag into Wednesday's contest, so it's no surprise to see him available. The rookie guard had been dealing with a bruised left adductor. He's been in a bit of a scoring rut recently, averaging 13.6 points while shooting 37.5 percent from the field over his last five games, but he's made up for it elsewhere, averaging 7.0 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 2.4 steals during that stretch.
