If the lockout hasn't ended in December or January, however, there likely won't be enough spots on teams in Europe or Asia to support the mass of NBA players wanting to earn a few paychecks overseas. Players without NBA contracts might have more luck, as they wouldn't be required to have an NBA-out clause sewn into their deals.

Udonis Haslem recently had another operation to remove a screw from his surgically-repaired foot. The procedure was anticipated and Haslem is expected to be fine whenever the 2011-12 season begins. He's capable of low-end double-double production, but the rugged veteran's potential is capped by the presence of Chris Bosh.
