Haslem (quad) is considered questionable for Tuesday's game against the Rockets, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
A tight quad has kept the veteran out of action this season but he appears close to making his debut. If it doesn't come Tuesday against Houston, Haslem's next chance will be Wednesday in Charlotte. Miami is then off until Saturday, when the Timberwolves travel to American Airlines Arena.

Haslem (quad) will not play Sunday against the Raptors.
The veteran is yet to play this season as he continues to nurse a tight quad. He doesn't seem to have much in the way of a definite timetable at this point, so continue to monitor his status on a game-to-game basis.

Udonis Haslem has agreed to re-sign with the Heat with an expected annual salary of $2.7 million.
The deal will be for one or two years, and it represents a major sacrifice for Haslem since he opted out of a $4.6 million player option this summer. He's the ultimate team player and he'll likely retire with the Heat, whom he's played for since 2003, but fantasy owners can safely ignore him on draft day.

The Miami Heat officially renounced their rights to Udonis Haslem on Monday.
Falling into the Heat's two-year plan, Haslem looks primed to re-join the team on a $2.7 room mid-level exception. Haslem only averaged 3.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in 46 games last season, so it goes without saying that the 34-year-old's fantasy value is essentially non-existent at this point in his career.

Udonis Haslem has opted out of his contract and will become a free agent.
He is almost a lock to get a multiple-year deal with the Heat. Haslem, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh all have the same agent and are likely doing this to help the Heat have some flexibility during free agent. In other words, U.D. opting out is just a formality and he'll be sporting No. 40 next season. He won't have much fantasy value, though.

Udonis Haslem's decision on his player option could influence the futures of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh in Miami.
Haslem has a $4.62 million player option for 2014-15 and has yet to inform the Heat on whether or not he'll decide to pick up that option. If Haslem decides to pick up his option, it will hinder the Heat's salary cap capabilities and would limit the caliber of fourth player the team would like to add to the "Big 3" of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. This situation is about as fluid as can be with James opting out of his contract on Tuesday and Bosh and Wade still deciding on their player options, but Haslem's decision could go a long way towards keeping the Big 3 together or potentially lead to the end of an era in Miami.

Coach Erik Spoelstra said Udonis Haslem could "possibly" play more in Game 5 on Sunday.
"He's on my mind," Spoelstra said. "These are the types of games where he's proven himself." The Heat seem to be over the idea of playing Rashard Lewis in the starting lineup and went with Ray Allen to start the second half on Thursday. The Spurs have whipped the Heat inside, so the extra size makes sense.
