Booker took an inadvertent blow from the head on a dunk attempt and was forced to leave Thursday's game against Sacramento, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.
EDGE Analysis
Booker was woozy as he was helped off the court, which suggests a concussion, but we'll have to wait and see if he passes Jazz doctors' tests before we can be sure how this injury will be handled. We'll keep an eye on his status, as it's unclear if he'll be able to return to action Thursday night.

Booker managed 12 points (6-9 FG), nine rebounds and a steal over 25 minutes in Thursday's 103-94 loss to the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
The six-year pro continued his string of mostly solid performances in the extended minutes he's received in the wake of Derrick Favors' (back) multi-game absence, putting together one of his best offensive nights of the season. Both the nine shot attempts and 12 points were second-best figures on the campaign for Booker, who hadn't put the ball up more than seven times in the 15 games prior. He also continued his superior work on the boards, and is now averaging 8.5 rebounds in the eight games that Favors has missed. Booker and rookie Trevor Lyles have formed a productive tandem in Favors' stead, although the pair's playing time will inevitably suffer when the latter returns to the court.

Booker scored seven points (3-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT) with 15 rebounds, three assists, and a steal through 35 minutes in a 94-80 loss to the Timberwolves on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Booker's rebound tally ties a previous season-high set on Nov. 28. The former Clemson Tiger has consistently received minutes in Rudy Gobert's absence, but has otherwise posted erratic figures. Over his last seven games, Booker has averaged 6.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 0.4 blocks. Once Derrick Favors returns from injury, expect Booker's court time to take a slight dip.

Booker posted 12 points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, an assist and a pair of steals over 25 minutes in Friday's 97-88 victory over the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
The reserve forward continues to provide solid production off the bench, tallying his third double-digit scoring performance in December. Booker has shot a solid 52.5 percent from the field over nine games during the month, and has hauled in average of 6.6 rebounds over that span. The six-year pro is currently enjoying a slight boost in playing time partly due to Rudy Gobert's knee injury, but his minutes may go back primarily into the teens upon the sidelined center's return.

Booker posted his second straight double-double in Tuesday's 114-106 loss to the Kings, with 12 points (4-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 27 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Booker has been producing solid numbers over the past five games, averaging 8.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.2 blocks during that span. He's getting more opportunities to produce with Rudy Gobert (knee) out, and he figures to be the best option between himself, Trey Lyles, and Jeff Withey in Gobert's absence. Expect Booker to be inconsistent, yet effective enough for deep format standards.

Booker (illness) ended up coming off the bench in Saturday's 122-119 overtime win over the Pacers, finishing with 10 points (2-6 FG, 6-8 FT), 14 rebounds, one steal, and one block over 23 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Though Trey Lyles replaced Booker in the starting lineup in the Jazz's second game without Rudy Gobert, who is out indefinitely with a Grade 2 MCL sprain, it was Booker who saw the greater share of playing time and turned in the more productive outing, despite coming into the day with a viral infection. Though he's only started in two of the Jazz's 17 games on the season and is averaging just a shade over 20 minutes per contest, Booker has already notched two double-doubles and remains one of the league's more effective rebounders on a per-minute basis. With his playing time likely on the rise following Gobert's injury, Booker's overall production should pick up, making him an intriguing target for those looking for rebound help.

Booker missed the team's shootaround Saturday morning with flu like symptoms, David Locke of The Zone Sports Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is the first we are hearing about an illness for Booker, and his status for Saturday night's game is up in the air. It will likely depend on how he is feeling closer to tip-off. Expect an update on his status once more information is made available.

Booker started for the injured Rudy Gobert (knee) Thursday against the Magic and posted two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds, one steal, and one block in 15 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Booker had the opportunity to shine with Gobert out of the lineup, but didn't make the most of it. He's able to contribute points, rebounds, steals, and blocks on occasion, but is far too inconsistent to be reliable in most formats. Even if he continues to start in Gobert's place, the Jazz may look to play with smaller lineups, making it hard to trust Booker.

Booker is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Magic, Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Rudy Gobert being ruled out indefinitely with an MCL sprain, the Jazz will move Derrick Favors over to center. This opens up a spot for Booker at power forward, so he'll make his second start of the season. Booker was in the starting lineup with Favors sidelined on Saturday and finished with 13 points, 15 rebounds, three assists and three blocked shots over 38 minutes. With that being said, he should see minutes in the 30's again Thursday, which will give him the opportunity to post numbers much higher than his season averages of 4.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game.

Booker managed six points (3-5 FG), three rebounds, and two steals in Utah's 106-103 loss to the Warriors on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
After getting a start Saturday in the place of Derrick Favors, Booker returned to his normal bench role Monday night. Booker logged 19 minutes which is what has been his normal playing time this year. He showed Saturday that he can be very productive, but before he can be a valuable fantasy option he needs to continue to see an increased role.
