Booker's rebound tally ties a previous season-high set on Nov. 28. The former Clemson Tiger has consistently received minutes in Rudy Gobert's absence, but has otherwise posted erratic figures. Over his last seven games, Booker has averaged 6.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 0.4 blocks. Once Derrick Favors returns from injury, expect Booker's court time to take a slight dip.

He's getting more opportunities to produce with Rudy Gobert (knee) out, and he figures to be the best option between himself, Trey Lyles, and Jeff Withey in Gobert's absence. Expect Booker to be inconsistent, yet effective enough for deep format standards.

Booker (illness) ended up coming off the bench in Saturday's 122-119 overtime win over the Pacers, finishing with 10 points (2-6 FG, 6-8 FT), 14 rebounds, one steal, and one block over 23 minutes.

Though Trey Lyles replaced Booker in the starting lineup in the Jazz's second game without Rudy Gobert, who is out indefinitely with a Grade 2 MCL sprain, it was Booker who saw the greater share of playing time and turned in the more productive outing, despite coming into the day with a viral infection. Though he's only started in two of the Jazz's 17 games on the season and is averaging just a shade over 20 minutes per contest, Booker has already notched two double-doubles and remains one of the league's more effective rebounders on a per-minute basis. With his playing time likely on the rise following Gobert's injury, Booker's overall production should pick up, making him an intriguing target for those looking for rebound help.

With that being said, he should see minutes in the 30's again Thursday, which will give him the opportunity to post numbers much higher than his season averages of 4.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game.

Booker managed six points (3-5 FG), three rebounds, and two steals in Utah's 106-103 loss to the Warriors on Monday.

EDGE Analysis

After getting a start Saturday in the place of Derrick Favors, Booker returned to his normal bench role Monday night. Booker logged 19 minutes which is what has been his normal playing time this year. He showed Saturday that he can be very productive, but before he can be a valuable fantasy option he needs to continue to see an increased role.
