Booker managed 12 points (6-9 FG), nine rebounds and a steal over 25 minutes in Thursday's 103-94 loss to the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
The six-year pro continued his string of mostly solid performances in the extended minutes he's received in the wake of Derrick Favors' (back) multi-game absence, putting together one of his best offensive nights of the season. Both the nine shot attempts and 12 points were second-best figures on the campaign for Booker, who hadn't put the ball up more than seven times in the 15 games prior. He also continued his superior work on the boards, and is now averaging 8.5 rebounds in the eight games that Favors has missed. Booker and rookie Trevor Lyles have formed a productive tandem in Favors' stead, although the pair's playing time will inevitably suffer when the latter returns to the court.
