Young produced 22 points (7-16 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 7-9 FT), one rebound, 15 assists and two steals over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 126-123 loss to the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
Young racked up his first double-double since returning from a knee injury, albeit in a losing effort. He also logged at least 30 minutes, the first time he has done so since getting back on the court. While the shooting will almost certainly be an issue at times, Young remains an elite source of assists. Look for him to continue working his way back when the Hawks play the Heat on Friday.

Young amassed 35 points (10-15 FG, 7-8 3Pt, 8-9 FT), one rebound and nine assists over 26 minutes during Sunday's 152-150 loss to the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
Young's 35 points weren't even a team high on the afternoon -- that honor belonged to Jalen Johnson and his 36 points -- and four different Hawks scored at least 20, but it wasn't enough in the highest-scoring game in the NBA so far this season. Young was making just his second appearance since suffering a knee injury in late October that has cost him most of the season so far, but Sunday's shooting performance was the strongest sign yet that the All-Star guard is fully healthy. Young set a new season scoring high and more than doubled his three-point total on the campaign, as he came into Sunday having gone just 5-for-31 (16.1 percent) from long distance.

Young (knee) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Bulls, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Young sat out the second leg of a back-to-back set Friday for load management, but he'll be back in action Sunday afternoon, and he could be cleared for slightly more minutes in his second game back from the knee injury. Young's return will likely result in Nickeil Alexander-Walker heading back to the second unit, and Keaton Wallace could drop from the rotation entirely.

Young (knee) is out for Friday's game against Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
With Friday being the second leg of a back-to-back, it doesn't come as much of a surprise that the Hawks are holding Young out due to right knee injury management. The superstar guard logged 20 minutes during Thursday's 133-126 loss to the Hornets in what was his first game back in the lineup since Oct. 29. Nickeil Alexander-Walker should jump right back into the first unit Friday, and Vit Krejci is also worth streaming in category-based leagues.

Young racked up eight points (3-8 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, 10 assists and one steal in 20 minutes during Thursday's 133-126 loss to the Hornets.
EDGE Analysis
Young showed some signs of rust shooting the ball in his first game back since Oct. 29, but he had no problem finding his teammates for buckets. He was on a minutes restriction Thursday evening and figures to have his playing time monitored closely for at least the next few matchups, so his production will likely be impacted until he's back to a full workload.

Young (knee) will play in Thursday's game against the Hornets, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
After an MCL sprain kept him sidelined since late October, Young is set to make his long-awaited return to the floor Thursday. The Hawks will closely monitor the superstar guard's playing time after he spent so much time on the shelf,, per Sam Perley of the Hornets' official site, but the expectation is that Nickeil Alexander-Walker is heading to the bench. Through his first five appearances, Young averaged 17.8 points, 7.8 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 27.8 minutes per game.

Young (knee) is questionable to play Thursday against the Hornets, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Young recently got in a practice with Atlanta's G League affiliate, and this is the first time he's received the questionable tag since going down with the MCL sprain, so he's clearly on the cusp of making his return. Thursday's game will be the first of a back-to-back, so if Young is able to get out there, he'll likely have minutes restrictions and skip Friday's game versus the Spurs. Check back for another update closer to Thursday's tip.

Atlanta recalled Young (knee) from the G League's College Park Skyhawks on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
This action indicates Young is on track to make his return to game action at the NBA level, where he has not played since Oct. 29. Young's first opportunity to suit up would be Thursday against the Hornets, but he can be considered doubtful until Atlanta releases its official injury report Wednesday afternoon.

Atlanta assigned Young (knee) to the G League's College Park Skyhawks on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
This is another step in the right direction for Young, who has been sidelined by a sprained MCL since late October. If the star point guard gets through this rehab assignment without any issues, he could be cleared for a return at some point in December.

The Hawks announced Saturday that Young (knee) is expected to return to practice next week.
EDGE Analysis
Young has been sidelined by a sprained MCL in his right knee since late October, but it appears the All-Star point guard has progressed enough in his recovery to return to practice. He'll need to go through multiple 5-on-5 practice sessions before being given the green light to play, but even when he does return, he'll likely operate on a minutes restriction to ease his way back into game shape. Dyson Daniels, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Jalen Johnson will continue to operate in larger roles on offense in Young's absence.
